Aunt C made me do it!

Ok, that's not really true, she just suggested it. A fun new "contest", although it's not really a contest since there will be no losers, only winners! Since Brendan's mom has so graciously shared these pictures of Brendan (and Aunt C) with us, it would be really fun if everyone here would share pictures of themselves. The way we'll do it is YOU send me a picture of yourself (locarbdesign@juno.com) and I'll post it, but with no ID. Everyone tries to guess who is who. It doesn't have to be a recent picture, it can be any picture you want. Your most funny, most cute, most sexy, whatever. Everyone who participates will get something besides just the joy of sharing with their fellow bloggers. What exactly depends on how many people participate.

If you don't have access to a scanner I'd be happy to scan your photo for you and send it back - just email me for instructions. No deadline for entries - but I'd like this to be a fun activity for the Holidays so don't procrastinate. I'll start posting them as quickly as they come in.

  • I am Pro-Crastination! You didn't say this was going to happen at this second! You just said "what do you think?" IMHO You need to put up a deadline, and then post them all at once. That will give me time to see if I can find a suitable snap. If you post them as soon as they come in we will be able to (through proces of elimiantion) easily guess who is who. That is it. No more redbull for lala! It makes her verbous and self important.

  • lala - you of course are correct, even in your redbulled state. So i won't post them right away, but will wait until there are many. So everyone hurry up and send them in!

  • Funny thing is that I don't have funny looking pics. Not that I don't take them but let's just say they not going to show up as evidence against me later on...

    I hate taking pics but for you Michelle, I just might.*grumble* the things I do for you people.

    Gave up my anonimity...I am really missing spell check...now ya want a pic??? Where's the meds....was it ever refilled?? Definitely going to need something

  • It would be cute if they were baby pics too. We talk about how cute Bren was but what about us. Okay,it's just my obsession with baby pics coming into play but I thought I would give it a try. Ummm..I don't think I have any pics where I live really. I will have to wait till I make it home to the parents.

  • I agree with Blairbecky... I think with seeing all of the pictures of Brendan as a kid, it would be cute to see pics of all of us as children. I think i'm going to have to scrounge up some old pics. Although it would be interesting to see what everyone looks like now. Hmm. *ponders*

  • I think this is a great idea. I would love to see what everyone here looks like now and as a kid. I am honestly addicted to this site and Brendan.
    Plus how else will Brendan recognize me when Im yellin' out his name in INDY in April. Although I when I saw him at Worlds, actually the whole trio was great about autographs and pictures. Aaron even waited, with his arm around me :), while my friend tried to get the flash on the camera to work.

  • hee lala, minions are good things to have. Just ask my Slightly Evil, But Loyal (and Wine Drinkin') minion, bittersweet!

    Although it'll look slightly suspicious if ALL of our flashes suddently stop working at the same time. We'll have to come up with a few other tricks and rotate them. (Brendan, if you're reading, just pretend you never saw this part of the blog and play along nicely with us!)

  • Well, I could not find pics of me as a kid, so you're stuck with the older version of me.
    And my attempts to make a collage? Ugly does not even cover the topic. Apparently I'm as bad in Photoshop as I'm good in writing.
    So, I'm enlisting extra help... thank good I'm people who knows people.

  • Aunt K - I need to borrow some meds! I sent my pics, but I'm scared!

    Another tip on how to get some extra time while taking a picture that works you all, is having your minion pretend that they don't know how to use your camera.

    Minion: Which button do I press?
    You: The big one
    Minion: I pressed the big one!
    You: Well nothing happened
    Minion: Well I don't know how to work this thing.

    See, there's a minimum of 30 seconds of extra snuggle time with the swimmer of your choice right there! HAHA! =)
