Chrismukkah - Day 2

There are no words to adequately describe the cuteness. Who's the babe next to Brendan? Mom or an Aunt?

I know there are several bloggers who've been anxiously awaiting a picture of Brendan in a baseball uniform.

HA! Love the expression. And the blue eyes.

  • Those pictures are way too cute! I love the fish picture the expression is priceless!

    By Blogger Adeliepenguin11, at 12/09/2004 3:45 PM

  • Y'know, if I didn't know that I've never met Brendan before, I'd swear the picture of him in the baseball uni was taken in my parent's kitchen. It really is close enough that I did a double take, even though the appliances are in different places and the kitchen window isn't that big. Still close enough for me...

and I'm rambling like an idiot. I'll stop now and others enjoy the visual bliss.

Yay for good Chrismukkah presents unlike my "filler" presents! Can't wait for tomorrow's unwrapping. ;)

By Blogger JHD, at 12/09/2004 3:49 PM

  • Oh, see his speedo? He was so made for speedos. No, anyways aww they are so cute. Thanks so much for spreading the Brendan LOVE.

    By Blogger i3_iiiiiiii_n_gggggg_x3, at 12/09/2004 3:50 PM

  • Yay!! More pics of Papacito, =). The first pic is sooo adorable, what a cutie.

Baseballer Brendan is so cute in his uniform...I couldn't get over how clean the kitchen looked, :).

The last pic *thud*, looks like he's such a fun guy to hang around with and what a sense of humor he must have, oh, and those eyes, *thud* (again, heheh)

By Blogger Maria, at 12/09/2004 3:56 PM

  • those pictures are soo adorable! i love the last though, the look on his face is so priceless...and those baby blues of his...*drools like homer simpson* =D -erin

  • Awww, well there's no way basketball jersey Hoogie can compete with that! *g* That is such a cute pic.

By Blogger Verbal, at 12/09/2004 5:35 PM

  • Yay!! The 3rd one is priceless!! Goofball!! Gotta love it!

The first 2 are adoreable! Can you possibly make him anymore endearing to me! (Uhh, no!) =)

By Blogger Stephie Mc, at 12/09/2004 5:45 PM

  • Oh my God, Michelle! I didn't even see the people in the backgroud of picture number one. For all you girls out there, that is Brendan's Aunt C. Behind her is his Dad. That is so funny how she ended up on the web page. Aunt K never saw it as well or I am sure she would have said something by now. Really, that is too funny....Bren's Mom

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12/09/2004 6:01 PM

  • I'm with Maria - I find the neatness of that kitchen countertop intimidating. Love Brendan in his little lawn chair and plastic watch.

By Blogger Michelle, at 12/09/2004 6:08 PM

  • I love Chrismukkah! Lovely pictures once again. I wonder if we can get Brendan to reenact the first one. ;) The last one is great too. He makes the funniest facial expressions! I can't get over how blue his eyes are.

By Blogger Janine, at 12/09/2004 6:15 PM

  • I like the way you think Janine. But will Aunt C be willing? It wouldn't be the same without her. ;)

By Blogger Michelle, at 12/09/2004 6:21 PM

  • Wow! What great pictures. Now that I know it's Brendan's dad in the background of the first pic, I can certainly see the resemblance. That profile sure looks familiar.

By Blogger krispy, at 12/09/2004 6:22 PM

  • Oh 'C'....did you ever think you would have made the good ole www looking soooo wonderful??? I cannot believe we missed that when going through the pics...that gave me the best laugh this week...and honestly wasnt a conscience payback either. Aunt K

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 12/09/2004 6:26 PM

  • Yeah, yeah, sure Aunt K...(that was a subconscious hit my two older sisters took on me without knowing what they were doing). And as for Mrs. H's countertops being sooo clean...lemme tell you ladies...you could eat off her floors in ANY room!!

By Blogger Aunt "C", at 12/09/2004 6:32 PM

  • Those pictures are great! Lil Brendan in the speedo is adorable. Bonus on being able to catch Aunt "C" in it! The face that Bren's making in the last picture is priceless! Probably about the same look I would make if I was in his place. Too funny... thanks for posting the pics Michelle. This is the best chrismakuh ever!

By Blogger afadingvoice, at 12/09/2004 6:41 PM

  • Man, these are just too cute! Does anyone know how old Brendan was in the first picture?

By Blogger Jen, at 12/09/2004 7:13 PM

  • Date on the back of the picture says he was almost 5 Jen.

By Blogger Michelle, at 12/09/2004 7:18 PM

  • With the new caption over the first picture, I now have Diet Coke all over my keyboard. Thanks, Michelle! ;)

Those pictures are great. What a great Chrismukah present!

By Blogger AimsRos, at 12/09/2004 7:19 PM

  • You're welcome AimsRos! I've added one to the last picture too. Enjoy. ;D

By Blogger Michelle, at 12/09/2004 7:44 PM

  • Love the new snaps Meesh! I am really ashamed of myself with the state of my apartment after seeing the sparkling clean place that is B-Mom's kitchen!! No wonder B-Man became a swimmer... his Mom was throwing him in the tub scrubbing him down to a shine all the time! (I kid because I have kitchen cleanliness envy.) Aunt C, you look great in that shot but I am sure Michelle will send you her adddress just in case you decide payback is in order. hee hee. The thing I noticed about the baseball shot was.. he is a liitle boy!! Dang it!! I though he was going to be all grown in a baseball uniform! Michelle is a temptress and a tease. And that is all I have to say about that. Oh except this, in that picture.. It is amazing that he already had those hands. He even had those lovely hands as a child.

By Blogger lala, at 12/09/2004 7:44 PM

  • These pictures are wonderful. What a great way to help me get through finals!!!

Nice bonus getting to see Aunt C!

And the face in the picture with the fish is just too much! Love it!

    By Blogger lizook12, at 12/09/2004 7:45 PM

  • I just got some snail mail and my heart stopped. The envelope is address to: Lala (or the equivalent) the second line said Brendan Hansen (online) but I didn't see the word online for a minute. So I thought, "Oh my, why are brendan and I getting mail?" ;) It was from Hospice Foundation of America. Thank you Michelle for making that donation in Brendan's name for my entry in the essay contest. Oh so sweet! The strange part is that the letter says the donation was made in the memory of Mr. Brendan Hansen. I want to write them and say.. 'I have no trouble remembering Mr. Toight Toiger, thankyouverymuch! " So great to do that Michelle! So all you young little chickies who have been writing your name next to Brendan's just to see how it looks, (you know who you are) if you had just played the essay game you too would have and envelope with both of your names on it! Tee hee.

By Blogger lala, at 12/09/2004 8:32 PM

  • PML. It was supposed to say "In Honor of". Sorry about that Brendan. ;)

By Blogger Michelle, at 12/09/2004 8:39 PM

  • "in the memory of Mr. Brendan Hansen"

Maybe the Foundation confused him with the poor innocent victim fish he's holding in the last pic! ;)

By Blogger JHD, at 12/09/2004 8:46 PM

  • Michelle...great captions...and do you see something different on this post?? Between you and Aunt C not mentioning my name...thought I should become official..Now I just need to remember my user name since it wouldnt take the first three that I entered...totally lost track of which one it accepted. Being anonymous was so much easier....

By Blogger Aunt 'K', at 12/09/2004 8:49 PM

  • Wheeee! Congratulations Aunt K. Now you are official. If you remember your username and password, you might want to write them down somewhere. :D

By Blogger Michelle, at 12/09/2004 9:08 PM

  • HAHA! Michelle you're the awesomest! The "innocent victim" captions made me laugh myself silly!

In truth though, aren't we all innocent victims of the charms of the Handsome?? =)

Aunt C - I love that we got to see you too. You look fab..be proud!

By Blogger Stephie Mc, at 12/09/2004 9:16 PM

  • Goodness, quite the family resemblence in the first pic. It looks exactly like Bren from the side. Aunt C,I don't know if I would believe that innocent victim part. I think it was a secret plot by the sisters...lol. You can get back at them by sending us pics too. A girl can try can't she. :)

The second pic is great. Always was a sucker for a baseball uniform. I bet all the little girls followed him around. The third pic shows Bren's sense of humor which makes him even more attractive which I didn't think possible. Sigh. Thanks to Bren's Mom for sending such great shots.

By Blogger blairbecky, at 12/09/2004 9:16 PM

  • Michelle, I am posting for two reasons first to see if the blogger remembered my sign on since I dont (very cool that it did) and second was give you some info...last time Brendan was home he told me that when he gives speeches clinics etc, he always visits a hospital specifically kids that have leukemia (I am sure I spelled that wrong), he also donates a percentage of his fee for giving the speech to the leukemia foundation. Normally I would not post this type of info, but since donations are being made maybe in the future they could go this foundation....it was just a thought...and to let the other ladies know Brendan has more depth than many might realize. thanks

By Blogger Aunt 'K', at 12/09/2004 9:20 PM

  • Thanks for the info Aunt K! I was actually planning on asking Brendan if he had a favorite charity the next time I planned something. It doesn't surprise me at all that he's already been contributing, and the Leukemia Society is as good a charity as any other I can think of.

By Blogger Michelle, at 12/09/2004 9:27 PM

  • ahh..just got back from taking 2 finals and what a surprise to find 3 new pics!!..the third is awesome..Bren makes me smile

By Blogger jenny, at 12/09/2004 9:30 PM

  • I know it is off topic. But I think Mia Hamm is a Goddess. I love her and will miss seeing her play. Back on topic.. sort of.. during the Monica Lewensky times I heard the photographer who took the "damaging" photos of ML and Clinton say that the reason he still had that old photo of the two of them together is because it had been shot on film. Digital, he said, was so great because you could delete a bad shot but on film you actually had to look at every photo. So he remembered having seen her face before. So he went through old picture to see someone other than the subject (BC), and found her. So I went through my old photo albums to see what was happening besides the posing subject and found the most beautiful things. In a picture of my sister holding her pet great-horned owl... in the background, I see my parents walking hand in hand on the beach. Then in a picture of my cousin, I see all my Aunts and My Mom sitting at a campfire laughing with thier heads trown back. Still young women. These pictures are now more precious to me. And the same can be said for these picks, family only see Brendan but we all see..super clean kitchen. Aunt C. What room is the puppy shot taken in... Ohh but that is after we gawk giggle and say OOh and Awww at Brendan. [/shutuplala]

By Blogger lala, at 12/09/2004 10:03 PM

  • Ok... Aunt C, you're a foxy!!!! Great pics and michelle, I love you! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

    I'm dead now...

And Pumpkin, thanks to you too. And wouldn't you like to know if I am or not.

By Blogger Lena, at 12/09/2004 10:13 PM

  • Of course Brendan already knows you are foxy, Lena! He has clicked on your name and checked out your blog, saw your pretty face and knows your darkest secrets ;) You need to put that cute snap of you and your bow in there!

By Blogger lala, at 12/09/2004 10:21 PM

  • lala, hun, I was not talking about that. But thanks for saying I'm foxy. A pic with me and a bow? Maybe, i don't know... if Brendan posts one of him and his bow, we can see if they match ;)

By Blogger Lena, at 12/09/2004 10:52 PM

  • so i gave in and joined blogger..the things i do for b-han.

By Blogger Sarah, at 12/09/2004 11:50 PM

  • I love new pics! And seeing the pic of the very clean kitchen made me feel ashamed of my dirty, dirty self. Yesterday my mum asked me to do dishes and I was like, "Moooooooom". Imagine what would happen if she said shine the floors.
