  • Thank goodness you put these up Michelle! Like I said before, I gotta have it!

Pic 1 - Lovin' it! Those curls, those eyes..adoreable.

Pic 2 - We need another innocent victim arrow there!

Pic 3 - I could get used to that view. That's all I'm saying! =)

    Wheee! =)

  • Yay! more pics..lovin the first one. sooo cute. the second i agree with Stephie that we need an innocent victim arrow but hey Bren enjoys hunting so its all good. the third is awesome. I'll ride shotgun if Brendan is driving anyday. Definately could get used to that...
On a different note..i only have one final left!!

By Blogger jenny, at 12/11/2004 11:47 AM

  • Congrats Jenny..It's been awhile since I've been in school but I remember clearly.

I love the first pic. It's become my new favorite of all the pic's from Bren's Mom. He just looks so happy and huggable in that one. It also looks like he has always loved the water. I agree Stephie about the curls.

Is that an antelope in the second pic? I may be wrong but I can't tell. Look how proud he is. I love the outdoorsy type.

Third pic...(dreaming)...(still dreaming)...okay I'm done for now. That would be a view I could handle on a long road trip. I might even let him pick what we listen too. Yes,I'm that person that has to be in control of the music....lol.

  • That first picture I think is my new favorite of the ones posted so far. So adorable!

The vegetarian in me is trying to block out the right half of that second picture, but you know, since it is Brendan...

Cute third pic... I could get used to seeing that. Thanks for posting them as always!

  • I feel like I say this every day now, but that first one has got to be the cutest thing ever. One of my favorites so far.

I'm also advocating the addition of the 'innocent victim arrow' here.

Yes, that would be a sight I could get used to quite easily, would definitely cause me to stay awake during a road trip instead of sleeping half the time...

  • Aw, Brendan in the water is adorable. You just wanna pinch those cheeks! Looks like he's getting an early start on the breaststroke.

I agree with everyone else about the innocent victim arrow! lol.

Great profile pic in the car. He looks really calm and relaxed. I can't pick a favorite among any of the pics that have been posted so far, because they're all my favorite! It's nice to see all the different sides of Brendan.

  • I'm having a tough time choosing a favorite between Brendan in the surf and Lenny in the surf. I think maybe if Brendan reinacted it, I'd have an easier time choosing. :D

By Blogger Michelle, at 12/11/2004 3:16 PM

  • Well, this is a great sight to comeback after a day outdoors with my bow, playing a little.

Lenny looks good, but I'll go with Pumpkin.
Seconc pic, blocking the view of part of it in here... but hey, if it's a family tradition, I'm no one to pass judgement

Third pic... well, Brendan, I'll join you in the passenger's seat whenever you want.

By Blogger Lena, at 12/11/2004 3:25 PM

  • awe, bren definitely does that pose much better than lenny.

the second pic is adorable as well. we have a pic of my lil brother that is basically the same set up and whatnot.

and the third...what can i say, except to repeat everyone else...i could definitely get used to looking over and seeing that when in a car :P

By Blogger Sarah, at 12/11/2004 3:42 PM

  • For me, having to chose between Brendan and Lenny is like Sophie's choice. So, I refuse to choose! ;)

  • Oh my sweetness... did you see that my sisters?? That little sweet boy in the water?? Oh my. I want to scoop him up and wrap him in a towel and dry his little self off as he giggles and shivers!! I love that little boy!! Makes me think of my nephews. So so sweet. Now the big one in the vehicle? I would love to wrap him an a towel and dry that one off as I giggle and shiver! ;)
I am only kidding, right? Yes. I couldn't resist. And besides , he isnt even wet.

    In *that picture......

  • LOL lala. Why weren't you out dodging the Christmas traffic like the rest us apparently were? All that shopping and all I came home with were some Christmas cards (that I hate), some wrapping paper(that I LOVE), and a partial salmon steak(which was yummy). Last weekend I managed nothing more than some tinkerbell pajamas (for myself) and half a curried chicken salad sandwich (also for myself). I think I need Mrs. H's help. This isn't going well.

  • Can these pics get any cuter??? I LOVE the first pic, those cheeks...just want to pinch them. I'm sure that his cheeks have been pinched once too many times already to last a lifetime though (huh...Aunts C&K??). =)

Don't care much for the 'friend' in the second pic, ;). Hey, his eyes aren't blue in this one, *wink*

Bren-Bear, both of your hands on the wheel while driving sweetie, ;).

Michelle, as for the shopping, I felt like "Mama Bear" today, we could definitely be shopping buddies =)....I put some shopping pros to shame today. I behaved though, I didn't by anything for me, =), well, except for a cappuccino....but that's it, I swear. ;).

By Blogger Maria, at 12/11/2004 11:39 PM

  • I haven't shopped yet, well, with the exceptions of the postcards for the card exchange. I refuse to do it so.
Instead of gifts, my best friends and I blew the money destined to that in a great sea food dinner at this English Pub in a hip zone and we spent 6 hours catching up, reviewing the year (one of them got her lawyer degree in October), making plans for the next. I think it was better.
And for the rest, my family is not that much into Xmas presents... we just give each other presents when we feel like it.
Finally, most of my friends like my writing and they've requested for me to write them something as Xmas present.
    So, that's it.
I will be cooking like crazy though.
Maybe "Mama Bear" can share some cookies recipes with me. I'm dying to try new recipes.

  • Some of us are in service professions and don't get to go shopping all day on a Saturday, MIchelle... There is no way I am going to get my shopping done in time for Christmas! I don't know what I want to get my MOM!! And my grandmother. She is living with different family members and has no place to store things.. she has every slipper, scarf, robe, Oh... and she is legally blind! I can't even give her a downloaded picture of Brendan! Anyone got any ideas?

By Blogger lala, at 12/12/2004 3:16 AM

  • OK. Let me think, I used to be good at this. So, she has all these clothes and she goes from place to place. Does she listens to music? Maybe you can make her/buy a CD with the music she used to listen when she was younger/met your grandpop/etc that she can carry with her. Since she cannot look at pics either, it might be a nice way to help her remember the past.
OK, maybe it was a terrible idea.
I know I have to be a trooper b/c Brendan does not like girly girls, but I'm sick again and at this point, I'm tired of being sick. Apparently my defenses are so low from the two previous tonsillitis that I got yet another one from a different kind.
Michelle, some nice pics by now would be good.

By Blogger Lena, at 12/12/2004 8:22 AM

  • lala - not sure if this will help but...
My grandmother always wanted the same thing - chocolate covered cherries, crossword puzzle books, $1 store puzzles and anything she could wear to church, like a new scarf or cape or something.
My mother was also easy. She liked new kitchen stuff, especially add-ons for her Kitchenaid, and she liked Clinique stuff so I'd usually get a gift certificate for her stocking.
They may not have excited me but they were always big hits with them. I'd also take them out to dinner somewhere the week after Christmas because it was a good excuse for all of us to get together and get dressed up in all our new stuff and get away from the leftovers.
My family stopped trying to surprise anyone years ago and now we all pretty much know what we're going to get. Some of the things I get every year that I look forward to are:
Gift Certificates for IHOP from my Aunt Bonnie(my son and i always spend them on New Years Day)
New White Barn Grapefruit scented candles from my cousin Lori. (they smell so good, but not too heavy just nice and clean)
Godiva truffles from my cousin's wife Sherry (bless her!)
Blockbuster gift certificates from my Aunt Carmen. (my son uses them to rent all the new games that have come out before deciding which one to buy with the Best Buy gift certificates he always gets)
Some lovely notecards and a book of stamps from my Aunt Donna (seriously, they come in handy!)

I know I'm going to get these things just like my son knows he'll get something stupid from Archee McPhee and a new mousepad every year. And my little cousins know I'm always going to get them dress-up clothes. But I like all of those things so I don't mind at all.

  • Here I am, with my face very close to the monitor, trying to figure out what kind of vehicle Brendan is driving. I'm guessing a Ford, but not sure if it's a truck or not. Anyway, he drives like me--one handed with my left hand on my left leg! We're meant to be! Ha ha, just joking.

Going through my pictures over the weekend, I found a lot of cute baby pictures of my boys, like those of Brendan's. Hmmm...I'll have to keep them in a safe place in case one day they become famous. Hee!

By Blogger BeachGirl, at 12/13/2004 10:24 AM

  • I'll be posting a photo of the whole thing later Beachgirl, but no, not a Ford. You should know that a USA swimmer is going to be driving a.......(think sponsors babe).

By Blogger Michelle, at 12/13/2004 11:13 AM

  • *Jumps up and down* I know,I know! I work quality in a factory that makes car parts for just about every car company out there. I could tell you stuff that would make you reconsider buying just about every type of car out there...lol.

By Blogger blairbecky, at 12/13/2004 11:58 AM

  • Ooh! Ooh! I've got it! Brendan's driving a Chevy! (Am I right?)

By Blogger AimsRos, at 12/13/2004 6:23 PM

  • I have no idea...
