Show Brendan your support by donating to the Leukemia Research Foundation

Fans have requested a way to support Brendan's favorite charity in his name and the Leukemia Research Foundation has responded by creating a special web page just for us. Please take note of the LRF logo in the sidebar just under his schedule. Brendan will be notified of every donation made in his name and the web page will be updated with totals as contributions come in. It's a welcome addition to the blog for those who would like to show their support in a truly meaningful way.

  • I've lost two grandparents to cancer in the past 2 months and my mother had Hodgkins when I was just a baby so it's definitely a cause I can get behind. I hope all swimming fans will contribute.

  • I'm glad we were able to get this worked out. I know this is something that will mean a lot, not only to Brendan, but to cancer patients in general.

  • Last night a show about the 'Jose Carreras Leukemia Foundation' aired in German tv. They told the stories of a lot of people with leukemia. Many of them healthy again, others still fighting the battle and yet again many lost their lives, because doctors couldn't help anymore. Therefore research is so very important.
    I think what Brendan does is really great and I have much respect for that! Since Jose collected about 3 Mio. € last night, it was an easy decision for me to give my small amount to Brendan. I hope all our donations encourage him to continue his work, it's needed! Thank you, Brendan!

  • I just got an update from them this morning and as of Friday there had been nearly $400 donated. They've also added an increment of $18 for the Jewish fans who had inquired about doing that.
