Tons of New Stuff!
I've been overwhelmed the last few days with people sending fan art and photos and I'm just going to post it all at once. Happy New Year!
First, Verbal's photos from the Hockey game last night. You can't see his baby blues but you get a pretty good idea of his lovely shape and form.

Wallpapers galore! Thanks primarily to afadingvoice who has taken it upon herself to create her own BHO gallery annex. ;) Check out the Fan Stuff page to see 4 NEW wallpapers from her featuring Brendan and the Texas Trio to go with the 1 we already had. And a soon to be new member of the blog sent me her own wallpaper. Everyone encourage Esther and her friend Simmy to stop lurking and start posting. Simmy has a great Brendan encounter story to tell. :)

You can't see Brendan's face but you still know he's looking good. Oh how I love a man in a hockey uniform.

Hey look, it's Hot Blob! He's so much better at that whole "walking on ice" thing than I am. I fell down the back stairs this morning and now have the biggest, ugliest bruise EVER.
Thanks for the pics, Verbal. And thanks for the fanart, afadingvoice and Mysterious Lurker!

Amazing fanart and photos! I¡ve always had a thing for those jerseys, probably b/c we don't have hockey on ice in Argentina.
Poll results are done: I'm sorry, Brendan, we managed to get you first on the best ameerican swimmer, but unfortunately, time zones made Aaron won best world swimmer. :( We tried, I swear we did.
Team Leader wants to thanks to all of you that voted and voted. Thanks for staying until the last minute with it!

Verbal: What a way to make me even *more* jealous of you. Haha. THose are great pictures, even though a lil blurry (which is so understandable after hearing your story)
And Kristina, I love, love, love those wallpapers. The young B-han one is adorable. The flag one is great as well Esther.
Don't lurk around Ester and Simmy! Come join the fun, trust me we don't bite. Or at least I don't think we do.

I LOVE a man in a hockey sweater. Nothing better. Well, okay, a man in low jammers so that the tip of his Longhorn tattoo peeks out comes in a VERY close second. =p
But since we haven't seen that from Brendan, then I'm sticking to the hockey sweater look as my favorite!

Verbal, thanks for sharing your photos! It's totally understandable that they are a little bit blurry. Good enough for me. I'm liking his look there.
Mysterious wallpaper submitter, please start posting. Come in and join in on the fun. And Simmy, I'm sure we would all love to hear your BrenBear encounter. Do tell!

Don't be shy! Come and play with us...lol. We're nice,I promise. Share your story with us. If I hadn't been such a chicken at WC I might have one to share.
Why was the first thing I looked for in Verbal pics was Bren's butt? I'm such a butt girl. There is no hope for me,I know. Thanks for getting pics for us Verbal. Wait a sec though,I think one is missing....Are you hiding the pic of you and Bren from us? ;)

Hi everyone, thanks for all the encouragement. It has been fun learning about you all and reading what you guys have written. Now here’s my piece of contribution (Sorry it’s quite long).
My small encounter happened on December 18th; the day that Brendan had a swim clinic in Naperville, IL. It was mostly that we happened to be at the right place at the right time, but it was kind of intentional. A couple of my friends, one of which was Esther, and I were planning on doing a little shopping for the Christmas season that morning, so we decided to go to Downtown Naperville, which has a variety of unique shops. This was a popular time and place to be shopping, so naturally the parking was bad. As a result we parked in a high school parking lot that is only streets away from the shopping center. Esther and I got excited, because we realized that's the school that Brendan was going to have his clinic at. We decided to go in and check it out. When we got into the building, we saw that the table and ticket area were just being set up and the people in charge told us that we were hours too early. We explained to them that we were fans and they told us to come back later because they would consider something for us to go in and watch the clinic. We went shopping and returned at the appropriate time. The people in charge gave us this awesome consideration, but we had to turn it down because the timings conflicted with other stuff we had to do. As a result we went into our car and sat there for a little bit to allow the car to warm up in this cold weather. There were only fifteen minutes left until the clinic officially started, so we assumed that Brendan was already there, so we left. As we were pulling away we drove pass this sleek, classy black Mercedes. While in awe from the car's appearance, we did not connect in our minds that there must have been someone of great importance in there. But as soon as we leave the parking lot, I spot Brendan around the black Mercedes. At first I didn't say anything because I couldn't believe that it was actually him and he had much darker hair that I had expected. After five seconds of debating in my head whether it was him or not, I burst out saying "There's Brendan, right in the spot next to where we were just at." The driver, Esther, was in shock and made this massive u-turn. By the time we got back into the parking lot Brendan was about five feet away from entering a side door of the building, but we still jumped out of the car. We were only a few yards away, but we didn't run after him, we just screamed out to him. We got his attention and he said hi, waved, and flashed his trademark smile (his slightly squinting eyes and gentle smile) back at us. Then he disappeared into the pool gym. It was a fun and amazing experience!

See Simmy? Stop being a lurker has its rewards!
By
Lena, at 12/31/2004 9:10 PM
Welcome Simmy! What a nice reward you got for ceasing to lurk! (Alright, I don't particularly like how that's worded, but it's almost 2 am so I'm going to let it slide)
Nice wallpapers everyone, I love the collage of young pictures. I actually have one I made yesterday that I will send along to Michelle before I go to bed. Happy New Years everyone!

Simmy, what a cute story! And it seems you made an impression. ;) See if that would have been me the story would have been a little different. I would have attempted to jump out of the car and probally landed flat on my face...lol. Bren, would you have come and helped me? Not as good as the flash not working but it might get the job done. :p Actually,if I do actually fall down just walk on by and leave me to embarassment please.

blairbecky.......
Nothing is more embarrassing then standing a foot away from Aaron Peirsol as your Mom says "Kimmy you are right, he is a looker..he has beautiful eyes! You really can pick them." Mind you this is my 21st birthday and everyone else is looking at me laughing their butts off, thinking "thank God that is not me!" I may have just turned 21 but I felt like I was back in 6th grade. I was very glad that she at least said it after I got a picture with him.
PS..gotta hand it to mi madre..she was right! BEAUTIFUL eyes!

LOL Kimberly. That sounds like something my mom would have done. Aaron is lovely, but I still think you should have taken more pics of Brendan. ;)
