Ok, I'm tired of all the Thanksgiving threads and it's time for some snark. I'll begin..

My hair is looking fabulous and no one is admiring it.
I've got a bank account full of money and it's national spend too much day but I can't think of anything to buy.
Grandmother doesn't have any premium channels and I'm stuck watching regular cable.
I'm hungry and there's no one to cook for me.
I've only got one layer left in my box of chocolates.
Brendan is out in the woods somewhere looking scruffy and gorgeous and ESPN lacks the foresight to broadcast it for us.

Thanksgiving Essay Contest - Part Trois

So the essays have been written and now it's time for the hair-pulling, bribery, treachery and general gnashing of teeth. Because there were only 5 entrants I'm increasing the donation to Toys for Tots to $10 each and adding a $10 donation to hospice for each person as well. Fan Mail

Wheeee! Maria sent some stuff to Brendan for autographs a few weeks ago and got it back from him last week. Funny thing though...she's a little technology challenged (we love you anyway babe!) so after hours fighting with her scanner she entrusted the items to the post office yet again and sent them to me for scanning so that all you lovely people could see the fine results of her effort. Not only that but she sent the "bored" picture to me as a gift (xoxox) because she knows it's one of my favorites. Pay attention y'all - bribery always works! (You'll be getting a small gift from me soon Maria, and your stuff is already in the mail on it's way back to you. :)

Btw, this isn't really the place for it but let me tell you the little story of how after seeing Grease for the first time, and developing the hugest girl crush on Olivia Newton John, I sent her management company a fan letter asking for an autograph and never heard back from them. Now I'm scarred for life. So Brendan - thanks for being and such a rockstar to your fans!
