Happy Happy Birthday! I know you feel no older today than you did yesterday, but that first time someone asks you how old you are.. you will either start for a moment and then lie.... or you will smile really big and tell the truth so that people can say, "NO WAY!" I hope you don't hold that little photo manipulation against me.. I put just enough makeup on you to keep you from looking like a bimbo ;) And I kid because I have mad photomanip skills! Can't wait to meet you so you can pinch the crap out of me! Happy Birthday.. Tee hee.

And thanks for the card Angie!! Being older than Aunt C, I was really glad to see her still on hte up slope!

Thank you everyone for your kind words...My mom and dad brought a tear to my eye. I have had a pretty good day so far, even though the weather is dull and dreary. My husband got up without waking me and made all the lunches....got my daughter to band practice, etc. My internal clock finally kicked in and I got up to finish the job...instinct, you know.

My friend then called and came over with lunch. She insisted on watching my 2 year-old while i went for a run by myself...It felt great! She then opened a bottle of champagne and we ate lunch. You only turn 40 once!

Anyway...absolutely no hard feelings taken la la. I am a trooper. The poem was great Lena...even with little notice...hope you all have a geat night...and to be specific...it is a Grey Goose Citron and tonic with lime...yumm...

I would sing Happy B-day again but I don't want to make y'all suffer like that. Aunt C,you are no where close to over the hill. You have a younger spirit than most 25 year olds I know. That's all that counts in my book. Hope the B-day celebration lasts into the weekend and you have a great time. Now,I would come celebrate with you,but I happen to be a gazillion miles away and I have to work. ;)
