More goodies....
From Mrs. H - I'm sure many of you remember the story of the waitress who wanted Brendan to take his shirt off....the photo evidence.
(Doctor on the right for Stephie)
And Heather sent me this photo of she and scruffy Brendan from the Golden Goggles Today show taping...
And for those who hadn't noticed - the Blogger Photo Contest is complete and all the names matched with all the lovely faces. You can see them all HERE. As far as who won bragging rights for guessing the most right...it's been tough. Crackinup, AimsRos and Lena all got 24 right before I gave my final round of hints, but Crackinup did it first and she and afadingvoice were the first two to guess the remaining 7 correctly...So I'm declaring Crackinup the winner on this one, with AimsRos and Lena finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively and an honorable mention to afadingvoice for being the first to solve my oh so not cryptic final 7 clues. In truth we are all winners here because we are all so damned cute! Wheeee for us! Participants will receive 2 exclusive photos by email that will not be posted on the website (as soon as I get around to it. :P).
ETA: I meant to mention that lovely Maxine's photos finally arrived! So y'all be sure to check her out on the blogger gallery page.

So do we get a summary of who's who??? Those pics are great. Thanks for posting them.

Well, the guy in the sweatshirt is Brendan....
OK, is this a manip or the real thing? For some reason I thought we talked about how if would have been funny if everyone else stripped, not that they actually did it.
But I could be wrong. It's been known to happen before.
By
JHD, at 1/04/2005 3:50 PM
No, they actually did it JHD and I believe Aunt K reported the story to us.
The only ones I can name in the photo are Brendan in the sweatshirt, Sean in the baseball cap and Mr. H with the beard sitting. So now we know where Brendan got those fabulous shoulders from. Oh, and of course lovely Nikki down there on the end who was kind enough to send us that scruffy Brendan photo a few weeks back.
By
Michelle, at 1/04/2005 3:57 PM
Well, Well. im speechless. the expression on BrenBear's face is priceless. im goin shoppin now but i bet there will be some interesting comments when i get back.
By
jenny, at 1/04/2005 4:06 PM
Hey Meesh... What am I, chopped liver?? Didn't I fill in all the answers too ? ;)
I am so in love with that whole group of scruff!! Brendan, the look on your face is priceless! I am so lealous of that waitress getting to come out to a giggle like that one! She has a story to tell for the rest of her life! And Sean..... is that a little bit of red I see in that scruff? You dress down real nice! Which one is the Hansenpapa? This may have to become my new desktop! And Heather is a cutie too!
By
lala, at 1/04/2005 4:19 PM
lala - you did fabulously, but only answered 23 correctly the first round whereas Crackinup, AimsRos and Lena all got 24. Sorry chica. You're still the most tiffin' Diva and no one can ever take that away from you.
Mr. H is the hottie with the beard down in front. The Hansen family is just much too good looking. They should all live in Austin with Brendan and Aaron and have their own reality show. :D
By
Michelle, at 1/04/2005 4:27 PM
Ladies-sorry it took so long to post the photo.I have been made so much fun of by my friends for how CRAZY I look, that putting it on the internet wasn't exactly my first priority. haha. I think I am going to have to add some photos into the member photo album to redeem myself.
By
Heather, at 1/04/2005 4:32 PM
Blow me over with a feather....*sigh*
I've suddenly decided that maybe I need some swimming pointers, because my breaststroke is terrible (it really is, but hey)....can anyone direct me to a person, possibly two, in Pennsylvania who could help me? Anybody would be fine, a coach *ahem*, or a fellow swimmer *ahem, ahem*, willing to take their shirt off in the line of, um.....duty?
By
Steph R., at 1/04/2005 4:39 PM
That picture of the guys is hilarious. I'm a bit new here so I don't know the story behind this. But Brendan is as cute as ever. And Sean....yummy! ; Brendan looks so hot in that picture with you Heather. As Napoleon Dynamite would say: "Lucky!"
By
Esther, at 1/04/2005 4:48 PM
What a great picture. The expression on Brendan's face in priceless. Steph, have you recovered yet?
*fans your face, hands you a cold washcloth*
And as for the photocontest, woo! I got an honorable mention. You know what? That's good enough for me. The simple pleasures.
By
afadingvoice, at 1/04/2005 4:51 PM
What a great picture from the trip! Love it. :)
I have an update on Steph.... She has checked herself into the hospital, where she should receive the flowers I sent. As I get more info on Steph's situation, I'll keep you updated.
Also, I came in second for the photo contest? Woohoo! I'm so excited. I don't usually win at anything. Thanks!

*Pre-Recorded Message to Follow*
Steph - Original Recipe (since there is more than one now) is seeking medical attention. This is required if you all want to see her survive until her 30th birthday (which apparently no one is too concerned about, or else you wouldn't do stuff like this to her) Please be assured she is in very capable hands and hopes to return to the blog as soon as she regains the ability to speak, type, and think clearly. This may take several hours, or possibly days, but we have every hope she will be able to return to society as a fully functioning individual shortly.
Please leave a message, if need be, at the beep...
*BEEP*

Stephie Mc, at 1/04/2005 5:08 PM
What a great looking crowd! I didn't think we'd ever get to see a picture of the waitress incident. Love Brendan's expression in that one. Thanks Mrs. H! You always come through for us!
I wish I had been here to guess in the photo contest! I'm sad I won't get to see the sekret pictures! =(
By
Janine, at 1/04/2005 5:34 PM
Everyone who sent in pictures will get to see the sekret pics. That means you too Janine! So don't be sad.
By
Michelle, at 1/04/2005 5:39 PM

Cute Brendan and shirtless Sean...what more do ya need? ;)
By
Autumn, at 1/04/2005 5:40 PM
Michelle...is the secret picture one of a certain tattoo? He He He!
By
Kimberly, at 1/04/2005 5:44 PM
DANG! I knew I should've tried harder to get a picture of me in the photo contest. Can I pay for the secret photos? Accepting late entries?
I hate being a procrastinator.
By
Anna, at 1/04/2005 5:51 PM
Stephie!!!! You've got to recover. What would we do without you? Wait a sec. If you don't recover then I can get Sean. Muhahaha!!! j/k
That pic is so funny. You can't beat a sense of humor and the Hansen family is so funny. Thanks Mrs. H! You know how to make our day. :) Bren, cute expression! What was the waitress thinking asking you to take off your shirt? Ummm...now if I see you and ask you to take off your shirt...ummmm...you couldn't tell sweet ol' me no could you??? ;D A girl can dream right...lol.
Yay for pics!! I knew there was a good reason to send in my picture. Thanks Michelle!
By
blairbecky, at 1/04/2005 5:52 PM
hmmm...seeing as i wasn't around for the whole 'photo guess' contest, how am i ever going to see that damn tattoo?!? grrr...anyone wanna sympathize?
By
Danielle, at 1/04/2005 6:15 PM
Yay, awesome Michelle! Thanks!
By
Janine, at 1/04/2005 6:21 PM
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! Secret pictures! ***Busts a move*** Thanks Michelle and whomever else was behind the supersecret prizes, I can't wait! Perhaps BrenBear could use his new digital camera and take a picture of himself with his new roommate? ;-)
Ok, the hoodie and that precious expression on pumpkin's face, surrounded by a bunch of shirtless men...priceless. Someone send this to Mastercard. "Dinner after hunting: $546.23. Gray Hoodie: $29. A shirtless snark: Priceless. Some things money can buy, but a sense of humor is priceless."
By
crackinup, at 1/04/2005 6:32 PM

I fully support any picture taking of BrenBear and AarBear.
I really hope Stephie is okay.

bwhaha! My second diet coke up-the-nose moment of the night. Thank you. My sinuses are now clear.
By
afadingvoice, at 1/04/2005 6:41 PM
I wouldn't mind seeing a pumpkin & Aar-bear pic. I would just be afraid that we wouldn't see Brendan through Aaron's massive fro!
Aaron in case you are reading....I tease because I love!
By
Kimberly, at 1/04/2005 6:59 PM
heyy now .. dont mock the fro! :) its pretty darn cute! :) haha and remember .. bren sometimes likes to sport the fro.. lol
By
Christi, at 1/04/2005 7:16 PM
Sorry, I was holding Steph's hand at the hospital. She's doing better, thank for the thoughts and the flowers sent.
Sean, I don't mean to make you feel uncomfortable, but oh my futbol god!!! You clean up nice without a shirt. If you brother hadn't come to my life before you and I didn't love Steph as a sister... *sighs*
Amazing pic! I remember the story pretty accurately. A lovely reminder of what happens when someone tries to see the tattoo before I.
And thanks for my bronze medal!
By
Lena, at 1/04/2005 7:38 PM
oh my sweet jesus. Thank you Kristina for the heads up about a shirtless Cutie mcHottie. I have to say, that made my day.
Oh, and the look on Brendan's face=priceless!!
*trys to regain her composure*
and yay! super sekret pics!
By
Sarah, at 1/04/2005 7:42 PM
Haha I love the first picture and the story that goes with it...and Brendan looks adorable as always :)
Stephie I hope you feel better!
By
Alexandra, at 1/04/2005 7:50 PM
Oh man, I was not prepared for that. The look on Bren's face, as many have said, is absolutely priceless. Thanks Mrs. H; you always come through for us.
And sekret pictures---*Flails*
Honestly, it was all cold and dreary in my little area of PA today and I had basically been worrying about next semester - like will I be able to survive student teaching or will the students tape me to a wall? - and graduating, etc. and coming here and finding this just made the day brighter, as I knew it would.
Well, I didn't know I'd find pictures or information about sekret pictures, but you get my point....I think...
By
lizook12, at 1/04/2005 7:51 PM
Is the secret picture of Aaron and Brendan at their sleepover? Because, helloo.
By
a, at 1/04/2005 8:15 PM
I'm wondering if Brendan and Aaron are going to need chaperones for their sleepover?....you know, just to make sure nothing gets crazy...;)
p.s. lizook12, student teaching is scary, but I promise you'll be okay.
By
Autumn, at 1/04/2005 8:23 PM
Two Scruffy Good Looking Brothers in one pic....*THUD*
Nice pic w/ pumpkin Heather, :).

By

Autumn - I've already signed up as a chaperon. The line starts behind me. And there are no time limits. (cough) whichmeansthrestofyouwontgetaturnbutohwell! (cough)
By

If there is a sleepover I better be invited, dang it! I will fix the snacks, okay?

Matt Leinart you may be gorgeous and freakin amazing at football, but I'm not in love with you...OK I AM
By
Anna, at 1/04/2005 9:06 PM
I'll be catering the sleepover. Those boys need to be well fed.
By
Lena, at 1/04/2005 9:09 PM
Ooo! I'll coordinate games!!!
First the pillow fight, then....Twister?!
PS-Thanks Autumn, I hope I will be.
By
lizook12, at 1/04/2005 9:11 PM
I'll be in charge of ghost stories. If Pumpkin and Aar-Bear get scared, they can cuddle up with me!!!!!!
By
Kimberly, at 1/04/2005 9:13 PM
They can swap manly stories and in the morning, I'm makin' waffles!
By
afadingvoice, at 1/04/2005 9:19 PM
Now,Kimberly, there is a order of cuddling here. Now the people who were on here from the beginning get first dibs. I'm somewhere towards the front but not really. Now I don't really care to cuddle with Aaron because I'm not really that into him. But for the sake of being fair I could force myself to do it.
By
blairbecky, at 1/04/2005 9:20 PM
It was a dark and stormy night. Two swimmers were driving through the rain, when their car broke down...
By
Angie, at 1/04/2005 9:34 PM
*cuddles Aaron*
Really now, if we're going to have chaperones, they can't be *younger* than the people they're chaperoning. Duh. It says so in the rulebook. Read the memo. Insert additional cliches. So they need a slightly-older-but-not-too-much-older-to-not-be-fun chaperone, I nominate me. (I promise to share, I have a digital camera and a laptop.)
By
crackinup, at 1/04/2005 9:34 PM
PML Angie!
By
crackinup, at 1/04/2005 9:35 PM
I'm not knockin the fro, because I do love Aaron, but whoever cuddles with him better be careful not to get tangled up in it.
By

Which is why I'm older than Aaron and the line is still behind me. Haha!
--
"Dude!" says one of the swimmers, with a wild mop of blonde hair. "Did you forget the gas again?"
"Ah, man." said the other, his blue eyes flickering in the moonlight. "I did."
By
a, at 1/04/2005 9:36 PM
(Aaron is younger than my baby sister, which slightly freaks me out. But I pretend it's okay to be pervy because I look younger than I actually am!)
As the rain continued to pelt the roof of the car, a new noise began to make itself present.
"Dude. Is that a scracting sound? Is that you?"
"No man. Totally not me. You know what it sounds like?"
"Like someone with a hooked hand scratching on the car?"
"Totally."
By
Angie, at 1/04/2005 9:39 PM
"Dude, are we suddenly in a horror story? I'm not so sure about this theory."
"What else could it be?"
"Well, you went hunting today, right? Maybe you left something on the roof of the car after you went hunting."
"Like what? A hook? No way."
(scritch scritch scritch)
"Dude, I'm getting skird. This is kind of trajic."
By
a, at 1/04/2005 9:43 PM
oh come on, I'm only a year younger than Bren...
*POUTS*
By
lizook12, at 1/04/2005 9:44 PM
"Why don't you turn on the radio. Maybe there's a report about an escaped prisoner with a hooked hand."
"This is stupid, man. Who are we? Joshua Jackson? That movie sucked."
"Hey! I liked it. Lemme turn on the radio."
"Nope, sorry."
*scuffle ensues, leaving both sweaty*
By
Angie, at 1/04/2005 9:45 PM
Oh come on don't dis Joshua Jackson! and I've never read this "RULE" about chaperones needing to be older...
AGE AINT NOTHING BUT A NUMBER BABY!
By
Anna, at 1/04/2005 9:46 PM
"Well, the scuffle didn't help much."
"No, except that I'm really hot now. I need to take off my sweatshirt. (rips off)"
"Oh, good idea. Let me take off my Newport Harbour High shirt (rips)"
(beat)
"Hey, this is 2005, right? Aren't there cell phones?"
By
a, at 1/04/2005 9:47 PM
(hey, I'm not dissing Joshua Jackson! I actually liked that movie. For I am a sad, sad person. *g*)
By
Angie, at 1/04/2005 9:47 PM
"Oh my god, who's that girl that just threw herself on the hood!"
"I don't know but it looks like that blair girl from the blog."
"Man,she can sure hold on."
By
blairbecky, at 1/04/2005 9:49 PM
"Right! Cell phones."
*both search for their phones."
"I'm not getting a signal. You?"
"Nothing, man."
"You know what we really need?"
"Some hot chicks to rescue us?"
"EXACTLY!"
By
Angie, at 1/04/2005 9:50 PM
"Whoa, dude. What's that glare?"
"Uh, I think the dude behind us is flashing his highbeams! He must be a killer!"
"No, wait. That's not how it works! It's one of those urban legends where the driver behind us is trying to warn us that in our backseat -- AHHHH!"
By
Verbal, at 1/04/2005 9:55 PM
"How come they're gonna rescue us?"
"Well, they must have soem weapon to protects us too..."
"Like a bow?"
"Yeah, that would do"
By
Lena, at 1/04/2005 9:56 PM
"AAAAH!"
"Hey wait. That's not a madman with an axe. It's Gary Hall!"
"This is better... how?"
By
Angie, at 1/04/2005 9:58 PM
"Dude, we weren't even on the 4x100 free relay team. What's he so annoyed about?"
"I'm not sure. Did you steal his bathing trunks of fug?"
"Yeah, I ran them up the flagpole at UT. Oops!"
By
Verbal, at 1/04/2005 10:00 PM
"Dude,she is still on there."
"Keep swerving or hit the brakes, something."
"I've never seen anything like it. Wow she's got a grip."
"Do you hear somebody breathing back there."
"Maybe but who would be in the backseat?"
By
blairbecky, at 1/04/2005 10:01 PM
"Right, I remember now! That was comedy gold."
"It totally was, wasn't it?"
"It was sick. Really."
*high fives*
"IT WAS NOT SICK! IT WAS TRAJEDY!"
By
Angie, at 1/04/2005 10:02 PM
atrophy, how convenient that you leave out BRENDAN on BRENDAN's blog regarding BRENDAN's house. Good try though, I still like you and will consider inviting you over for tea and crumpets. (That's blogger code for beer and pretzels.)
True "needed an elevator pitch" story. I was flying home once through Charlotte. I'm sitting there ladedadeda on the plane and Joshua Jackson suddenly walks in...yes, to coach, and heads right past me to his seat. I'm like [internal dialogue]:
"Hah, that guy looks like Joshua Jackson. Only 4 days 'til Dawson's Creek!"
"Wait, Dawson's Creek tapes in North Carolina."
"Omigod, that IS Joshua Jackson."
So I had the whole cross country flight to think of something to say to him when we got off the flight. I got off the plane and stopped to check my voice mails (Murphy's law, got phone call for job interview the moment I left town) and suddenly Joshua Jackson is walking right next to me. I'm all internal dialogue again, "say something, say something!" But what am I going to say?....."PACEY! I just love Dawson's Creek! Come on, tell me who Joey ends up with!" I had no opener. I was devastated.
Anyhoo, I said nothing and kicked myself for weeks. I had bruises. And get this, last year a friend of mine produced a movie and cast Joshua Jackson. So NOW I have an opener. Figures. BTW, he's skinnier in person than I expected. And tall. And had facial hair. It was weird.
By
crackinup, at 1/04/2005 10:04 PM
"Oh, no. He's in his Everlast gear! I think he's lost it."
"Or maybe he just really, really wants the firewood we have in the back?"
"Hmmm...it is pretty cold outside."
By
Verbal, at 1/04/2005 10:07 PM
crackinup- that's an awesome story (except for the whole not talking to him). I am a freak and my idea of a perfect man is everything Joshua Jackson has (appearance-wise) but it all lies within his scruffy appearance/average build of weight. Unfortunate he is skinnier in person...
PS. One time I met the dog from Frasier, he was skinnier too
By
Anna, at 1/04/2005 10:08 PM
"AGE AINT NOTHING BUT A NUMBER BABY!"
I second that Anna.
By
lizook12, at 1/04/2005 10:09 PM
"Hey Gar! How's it going? Are you cold back there? I could turn on the heat."
"GRR. ARGH."
"I don't think that's working. Maybe you should apologize for the shorts thing."
"No way. Not yet. There's gotta be something else."
"What?"
"Hey Gary! You know that creepy noise that's coming from outside? Why don't you go investigate it? After you go, I'll go. It'll be like... a relay!"
By
Angie, at 1/04/2005 10:11 PM
I third that Anna. I'm only a year younger than Bren...
The dog was skinnier?
By
Autumn, at 1/04/2005 10:13 PM
Crackinup---isn't that how it always works? Now that you have an opener you're chances of running into him are 1000 to 1.
I met Jason Wade (lead singer of Lifehouse) after their concert once, there was a lot of pushing and shoving and by the time I actually handed my shirt over to him to sign the only thing I could squeak out was "Hi Jason, I love your music", which was obvious-why else would I be at the concert? *head desk*

lizook12, at 1/04/2005 10:15 PM
Once I saw Eric Howeveryouspellhislastname (Greg from CSI) walking down the street in NYC. My brilliant response was to whisper to all my friends, "Hey, that's Greg from CSI!"
...
I am smoooth.
BTW, I just registered a new AIM name. "is it trajedy". I'm leaving for work in about ten minutes so I can't chat now, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Eric Szmanda?! I think he's so adorable! I'd probably do the same thing though for fear I'd get tongue tied when trying to say his name and combine the first with the last, which seems a little challanging to pronounce.
By
lizook12, at 1/04/2005 10:32 PM
Autumn- I was joking the Frasier dog wasn't skinnier. I pet him and the meeting went well. Maybe if I meet B-dogg I should pet him?
By
Anna, at 1/04/2005 10:32 PM
Yes, that's him! The sad thing is that no one I was with knew who he was. "Eric who? Greg from CSI? Who?"
Does it really matter? He's ADORABLE!
:)
By
Angie, at 1/04/2005 10:34 PM
lizook, if it makes you feel better, I DID once introduce myself to the lead singer of a band I like. He was very sweet and friendly, but boring (which was not his stage persona). I was disappointed.
Oh, and I once had a Billy Joel spotting at music venue/bar in NY, and the man is one step away from being my musical hero. I didn't want to interrupt him in the middle of the set, so I went to go over and introduce myself between sets and he was GONE. I was so sad, I had like 2093842093482 openings ready for that one. (For example, "You singlehandedly prevented me from quitting piano") I did, however, have a successful run in with Eric McCormack from Will and Grace. I had a good opening for that one though, "Hi Eric, sorry to bother, but you're sitting on my jacket." An hour later, he, his wife, my buddy, and I were sitting around a booth drinking beers. Great fun.
By
crackinup, at 1/04/2005 10:34 PM
Oh, you guys want to hear about smooth...you should hear what happened to me my freshman year of college (five years ago) with Mark McGrath (lead singer of Sugar Ray). I'm chill with the (in)famous now, but boy did I make a jackass of myself.
By
Kat, at 1/04/2005 10:36 PM

By

It doesn't matter; he IS adorable! My friend Jess said to tell you we're jealous! :)
crackinup-that does make it a bit better. And beers with Eric McCormack and his wife sounds like TONS of fun! Where is my luck like that?!
By
lizook12, at 1/04/2005 10:40 PM
i am watching Garen State...I've never seen it before, but I have to tell you Zach Braff swimming..........Ha Ha HA Ha HA HA!!!!!!!That is the single funniest sight I've ever seen. Just had to share!

'Where is my luck like that?!' Ditto! The closest i have ever come to meeting a famous person is getting a signed cartoon in the mail from my best friend's mom's cousin who plays Patrick on Spongebob. Still cool though, i guess.

Yes! Garden State looooove.
I've never actually talked to anyone even remotely famous when I've seen them (which is not often, living in MN!) In October I was at a Tom McRae show (this is my lame attempt to Tominate BHO posters!) and when the headliner (Rachael Yamagata) was playing, one of Tom's band was standing right next to me and my friend. We said... NOTHING. Then another annoying fan found him and began babbling about the stupidest things ever, and my friend and I wished we'd started talking, if only to spare him the conversation of Inane Fan.

whoever made the Napoleon Dynamite reference earlier....that movie is hilarious. i just saw it last weekend. me and my dad have been quoting it since.
I have never met anyone famous. the closest i have come was in 1st grade when the guy who played the security guard in that 80's movie "Manequin" came to my school. isnt that the saddest thing ever??!!!haha sort of funny though

Sigh. I continue to be the only person ever who hated Napoleon Dynamite.
I will sit over here. Alone.
Alone in my hate.
:)

Anna - When you meet b-dogg, if you feel so inclined to pet him, I definitely want to see pictures of that

I haven't seen all of Napolean Dynamite yet, but I wasn't impressed with what i did see. nothing against anyone who enjoyed it, just letting Angie know she's not alone

I met Keanu Reeves at LAX, walked behind George Michael at London Heathrow and have also seen Anjelica Houston at LAX. Unfortunately, the LAX famous people I've met were all after nightmarish airline experiences, so I didn't want to run up to them and bug them. Except Keanu Reeves, I shook his hand.
Oh, and I helped Diane Keaton find a book on Quaker Interior Design. I rock!

Thank you, Liz!
atrophy - GEORGE MICHAEL?! You are so my hero now. :) I will resist the urge to quote, like, every Wham! song ever.
(but I will say this - guilty feet have got no rhythm!)

Angie, at 1/04/2005 11:21 PM
I have to say, of all the random off topic posts on this board...today's thread takes the cake! We had shirtless Cutie, sleep over games with Aaron and Pumpkin, Gary Hall Jr's "I know what you did last summer" reenactment, Garden State, Napoleon Dynamite quotes, and random celebrity encounters! What a night eh?

Kimberly, at 1/04/2005 11:24 PM
YEP, George Michael! It was awesome, because there were all these paparazzi were out in the hallway snapping photos and he was TOTALLY GRINNING like nothing else. It was so awesome.
Angie, now that you say that, I'm never going to dance again.

atrophy - I don't want your freedom.
(I'm sorry. Sometimes I just can't control the random song lyrics.)
To get this SOMEWHAT back on topic - Careless Whisper was on the CD I sent Brendan!

all of a sudden my Guilty feet have got no rhythm.

Since we're way off topic on celebrity meetings...
One time I met Andy Roddick (AND HE DIDN'T HAVE A SHIRT ON) and I shook his hand and it was sweaty, but then again mine probably was too

Anna, at 1/04/2005 11:31 PM
Freedom? I won't let you down. I will not give you up. I've got to have some faith in myself, you see.
Topic: Hi Brendan! Do you like Angie and my randomness?
By
a, at 1/04/2005 11:32 PM
Angie- how did you choose what songs to put on the mixed CDs for Brendan? It would probably take me days to decide
By
Anna, at 1/04/2005 11:33 PM
I don't wanna miss it when you hit that high. (When I was in high school, my friends and I made a movie we call The Movie. For five mintues in the middle we just randomly danced to Wake Me Up Before You Go Go and 9 to 5.)
I hear randomness is a big turn on. Truly.

Anna - it took me MONTHS. I started making the CDs the second week of the Olympics and only finished them in late November. One of them had a theme of "water" and the other one was supposed to be at least kind of related to swimming, but obviously wasn't all. Hence, Careless Whisper.

Making mixed tapes (or CDs) is an art form and has lots of rules. You gotta kick off with a killer, to grab attention. Then you got to take it up a notch, but you don't wanna blow your wad, so then you got to cool it off a notch. /high fidelity

Angie, I've heard that too.
Yo, Brendan, Aaron. I will be your father figure.

total side note: Ben Folds and Rufus Wainwright do the best cover of "Careless Whisper"
*on repeat*
