New Chatroom!

There were so many people interested in chatting that I've gone ahead and installed our very own BHO Chatroom. You'll need to be registered to enter chat and there are some instructions and Chatroom rules posted on the chat page. I hope you all enjoy using it. Please let me know if you have any problems.

There have also been some additions to the Gallery including this fabulous picture of Brendan and Sean from Swimphilly..

And lovely Anna with Brendan's Tahoe.

And many other new additions as well. A note about the Gallery - if you register on the Gallery page it will give you the option of leaving a comment and rating your favorite photos.

And lastly - y'all list some links to your fav Bren pics in the comments so I can put together a new favorite pic poll. There are just so many to choose from - I can't narrow it down on my own.

Sean in that picture is trying, as he always does, to be as tall as Brendan. He is too funny.

mrs. h - this was from the wedding, before the rehearsal dinner I think. and he does look tall - but i think the GQ face he is making is classic! ha

Wheeee! Mrs. H - glad you got your new account working. You'll have to email me which suggestion I made worked so I can pass it along to anyone else having the same trouble.

Be warned Anonymous bloggers - I'm turning Anonymous posting off by the end of the month. I'll post more about it another day.

The new pictures are quite lovely. Sean does look pretty funny trying to be as tall as Bren. I do the same thing with my little brother. It still amazes me that hes only 15 and already 5'11"

It warms my cold dark heart to see that you have found your way back to us. I usually don't like that feeling, but for you I will make an exception.

But for you AnonyMice, Did you think that I was eville? I am nothing next to the QueenMistress of this blog. I can just threaten you. She has the power to shut anonymous posting off. Oh, if only I had that power, I could rule the world!! Muhuhuhahaha!
Oh that feels better! And since I am feeling a little more eville, I must say this to Lena: If Brendan was wearing shocking day-glo pink I bet that would be your favorite.

Yay for Mrs.H! Cute comment about Sean. My older sister does the same thing to me and I'm only 5'5. She is a shorty and it's funny because her husband is only my height. I call them the munchin family. Shhhh...don't tell them. :p

Hey, are any of you NY types (DC, Heather, etc) going to the FINA meet in Long Island on the 11-12th? I actually have to be in NYC for work that week, so I was thinking of going even though we now know that Bren won't be there. Anyone care to hop on the LIRR with me? ;-)

Im with you Dana Cara. All my friends normally bend down a little and I stand on my tip toes because I am only 5'1''!!!

that pic of bren and sean is great! i can relate to some of you guys...i too, am 5'0"...well, not really... put it this way, i'm as tall as that singer shakira, which means i've got u guys beat on this short thing...

anyway, about our favorite pics, i guess if i had to pick one, you can't go wrong with the pic of bren and Mrs. H dancing..it's too cute!...no wait! the tattoo one! he looked so good!or how about the one with--oh i can't decide! it's too hard!

I love that pic of the bros!
I was never short until I got into Uni. Almost everyone around me is six foot something, and a guy! So I know what it feels like to try and stand tall. But I had a photo taken with Aaron Peirsol at the World Cup and there is seriously like a foot difference in height between us. I only came up to his shoulder! I've never felt so short!!

Andrea, as far as I know, there's no email confirmation for the chat room. If you logged in with name and password and were able to get in, then that is it.

SickDuddete and SpanishEyes, I had a blast chatting with you yesterday. We gotta compare notes on teams more often! And you have to give me a good paella recipe. I'm always up for trying new recipes... Vale?

this is while registering or loging in?
If it's while registering, try another username. If it's while logging in, check the caps use and all that jazz.

Make sure the name you are signing up with has no spaces or special characters. It won't accept them. If you're already doing that I'll need to get more info about what's happening. Do you have an AIM account?

turquoise that was happening to me too. i just kept trying and one time it let me register. i know that isnt much help but maybe it will eventually work...dont worry you will sort it out by Wednesday...=) which is what matters right?

as for sean, i'd have to say, he isnt that much shorter than bren. I'm over 5'8(on a big hair day) and sean is taller than me. and lets be honest here, 5'9, 5'10, 6'1, 6'2...does it really matter when you like like him? not so much. ;)

my roommate when he met brendan, said to him "wow. you look taller on tv." ha!

anyhoo - anna, if you are 5'8, and you still look tiny next to that monster.

having a super bowl party if any nearby bloggers would like to stop by around 4ish, my door will be open, and I will greet you with a cold beer.

Ya, 5'8" and 6'2" aren't so different when you like-like the dude. However I do have a little thing for men in the 6'9" range who make Jason Lezak look spindly. But that's just my personal thing. ;)

Best paella is the mixed one (seafood and chicken), I'll have to ask my mum for the recipe since I can't cook to save my life!

SickDudette, we can let her try cooking a paella for Brendan and see how it goes.We still have many tricks left in our bag to lure him into our "dark side". Heh

Spanish and Sick the recipe had nothing to do with Brendan (I know, paren las rotativas!). My friends have been nagging me about cooking paella for them ever since I hosted my last Medieval Dinner and I just told them I will as soon as I get a good recipe. I have the azafran and all that jazz, but I want a traditional recipe to try.
