  • My friend couldn't get off work so there will be no Indy for me. There is no joy in Mudville. :(

  • hey girls ... just wondering, who all from BHO is actually going to be in indy? i'll be there fri, sat and sun and could send in reports if you wanted ... but probably not till monday evening, unless i can get on a computer while i'm there. is anyone else planning on doing this? 10 days and counting!!!

By Blogger Manda, at 3/22/2005 10:15 AM

  • well i won't be there but I know all you ladies who are able to go will make BHO proud.
American short course was a blast so i can only imagine how trials will be. I cant wait for pics and stories.
    Kimberly, im countin' on you!

man i have to make it to montreal! School, a car, and tuition money will have to go on the back burner...at least i have my priorities straight. we are talkin about Bren ya know!

  • I wish they would at least televise some of it....Grr I'm still bitter about that. I was hoping to do what I did back in October for Worlds, I went all out, I had tons of food, signs, I had people over to watch and cheer with....this time I just get to sit and stare at a computer screen. But I'm not letting that get me down, I'm still going to be cheering everyone on! Indy Legion..do us proud here at BHO!

  • 10 days? I can't wait! The Aussie trials last week were so much fun and I can imagine this one will be great as well. Have fun to all who are going!

Thanks for the info Lena. Can someone post a link for the official site so I can keep up with what's happening on a regular basis?

And one more question: I don't see a 50m Breast listed there. I'm told that Brendan does that one as well. I'm only in Montreal for 2 days and the only Breast stroke event in those 2 days is the 50m. It would be my only chance to see him race! I'd hate to only see 2/3 of the Trio in the water. :(

  • Wait, so who won the pool?

    By Blogger a, at 3/22/2005 11:20 AM

  • Hey manda...I will be there those same days :)
But same here I won't have computer access till Monday, but if anyone wants us to call in updates I will be more than happy to. (bc I know that all you gals will do the same for me with Montreal)

To all thos that are going to be in Indy...wanna meet up somewhere? Elysha and I are going all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I think this may have been discussed on a Wednesday night chat that I missed, so if I was left out of the plans for the INDY legion can someone email them to me at: kobrien@humana.com

    Thanks

    10 DAYS WOOHOO!!!!

  • All those attending Trials - those of us who can't attend need you! Kate - no plans have been made yet but I'd love to talk to all those attending in the chatroom tomorrow night before Brendan signs on. I hope you can all be there! Would love to do a banner and see lots of BHOer's sitting together, (and sending me pictures and reports etc. HA!).

    Everyone going check in here!

By Blogger Michelle, at 3/22/2005 12:05 PM

  • I have yet to mention that I will be attending Trials. (yeah right ;P) I'm so excited I can't wait. Michelle, you can count on me to be your faithful BHO servent. Well, with in reason!

By Blogger Kimberly, at 3/22/2005 12:33 PM

  • So sad that I can't be there for the Trials, but I know that the Indy Legion will make us proud! And at least there's going to be more than three of ya'll to create a bigger cheering section for Bren!

Can't wait to hear/read the stories and ogle the countless pictures that I know you guys are gonna take. =D

Kimberly, I'm counting on you to get Bren to that party of yours! Haha.

By Blogger erin, at 3/22/2005 2:32 PM

  • atrophy, darling, no one won the pool. I only signed in cause the Boss needed me and I had other issues to take care via email. That was all.

That being said, I'm very sore from training so I'n off to study with mate and pastries. See ya all tomorrow.

By Blogger Lena, at 3/22/2005 2:46 PM

  • Atrophy - I won the pool cause I'm the BOSS! BWAHAHAHA. But seriously yo, she didn't make it through the weekend. She was chatting on AIM Sunday (and Monday too!). She totally can't live without us. :D

By Blogger Michelle, at 3/22/2005 3:34 PM

  • Teagan, the trials won't have a 50 breast. People who qualify in the "Olympic events" will be selected for the "non-Olympic" events. Usually, the winner of the 100 Breast will swim the 50 Breast if they want to.

By Blogger Ella de Aquella, at 3/22/2005 5:04 PM

  • So, "the Boss needed me" = "I couldn't live without my sweet, sweet Brendan pictures for more than two days" and "I had other issues to take care via email" = "I was getting bored using Freecell as a procrastination method". Got it.

    ;)

    By Blogger a, at 3/22/2005 6:18 PM

  • Thanks, Kat!

I hope he goes for the 50m in Montreal.

    By Blogger Teagan35, at 3/22/2005 7:15 PM

  • I was not online on Sunday... well I was, but Boss, you know very well why I was and it had nothing to do with Brendan pics. I haven't even checked the gallery since last Thursday. I'm busy training and it's a big deal given the fact that I've added a new coach and this one it's really not letting me off the hook.

"I couldn't live without my sweet, sweet Brendan pictures for more than two days"

Actually, I can... I just choose not to :p

Anyway, I'll deal with the Indy Legion tomorrow, I have tons of reading to do still.
