  • Thank god I'm not the only one that sucked at it...

Honestly, I only got six correct... and most of them were dates... and guesses.

    But is was informational...

  • Wow, look at all the pretty red x's next to my name. Oh wait, that's not a good thing, is it?

I'm a very bad fan. Sorry, Brendan.

By Blogger JHD, at 4/22/2005 11:24 AM

  • *Stands next to afading with head hanging*

It's the thought that counts, right? Like you can measure your Bren love by a quiz. ;)

By Blogger blairbecky, at 4/22/2005 11:33 AM

  • y'all too chicken to post your numbers? Come on now Blair and JHD..

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 11:41 AM

  • 30%. Thirty is a good solid number, right?

By Blogger Melissa, at 4/22/2005 12:13 PM

  • 30 is a GREAT score Melissa!

(if you're playing football, but you're not :p)

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 12:20 PM

  • Did y'all know today is "If your name begins with 'A' and ends with 'Trophy28', Triple Your Score!" day? It totally is! So I got 99%. HAW HAW.

    By Blogger a, at 4/22/2005 12:21 PM

  • Not chicken. Just figured y'all could read the sad sad news on the results page without me having to post it a second time.

    29, like my age *cough*....

By Blogger JHD, at 4/22/2005 12:36 PM

  • JHD - hahahaha!

    Atrophy - in what world does 38 x 3 equal 99?

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 12:45 PM

  • In a world where Atrophy can't add.

    By Blogger a, at 4/22/2005 12:45 PM

  • Or multiply, for that matter. Or know basic math skillz.

    By Blogger a, at 4/22/2005 12:46 PM

  • How will you ever sort out the exchange rate in London next week dear? I hope you'll have a chaperone.

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 12:47 PM

  • 57%. At least it was more than the Boss :P

Still not good, but honestly, I know nothing about NCAA.

By Blogger Lena, at 4/22/2005 12:49 PM

  • 60% But but.... As I saw the real answers and I kept saying, "I knew that!" and "Who knows that?!"

By Blogger lala, at 4/22/2005 12:59 PM

  • Agreed lala. I blame my test anxiety cough45cough. Oh well, I did better on that then I did on both French tests! Why can't the test look something like this?

Who is the cutest swimmer ever?
    a.Brendan Hansen
    b. Brendan Hansen
    c. Brendan Hansen
    d.Brendan Hansen

    What is Brendan's nic-name?
    a. pumkin
    b. Bren-Bear
    c. cutie mc hottie
    d. both a and b

What tattoo are we eagerly awaiting to see?
    a. the rings
    b. the horns
    c. one that no one knows about (tequila can make you do crazy things!)
    d. a bho tattoo on his left bicep

    I got a 100% on that test!

By Blogger Kimberly, at 4/22/2005 1:02 PM

  • Whatever, Michelle. I know how to multiply things by two, which is the exchange rate in England - $1 = 2GBP. So if I find some hott jeans that are 567GBP, I know that they're about $300, and I'm afraid that the world just ain't ready for my jelly in $300 jeans.

    :P

lala, you may have been confused after leaving me 103 messages on AIM last night while I was sleeping.

    By Blogger a, at 4/22/2005 1:32 PM

  • Yeah, atrophy.. We know how you like to exagerate numbers. I don't even think I have you on my buddy list.

By Blogger lala, at 4/22/2005 1:45 PM

  • In a world where Atrophy can't add.

Or multiply, for that matter. Or know basic math skillz.

Heh. If The Challenge goes through, someone better keep an eye on atrophy's lane. Maybe even use those boards with the number of laps on them like they use in the 1500.

Because otherwise I can just see it now: "What, I swam half a lap. So, that's 200 meters, and I win!"

By Blogger JHD, at 4/22/2005 1:47 PM

  • Atrophy dear - better check that math again. If they are 567 GPB, wouldn't they be $1134 USD? (in fact they'd actually be 1,085.93 :p)

    http://www.xe.com/ucc/

Someone take Deena's credit cards away STAT.

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 1:51 PM

  • Deena, darling, you got it backwards!!!
    1GBP = USD 2!!

So yeah, everything you see in the price tags is gonna be twice the amount in dollars (and I might add 5.60 in my poor devastated currency).

Please print this and carry it with you:

    1 GBP = 2 USD

I don't want you to spend too much that you cannot afford Duel in the Pool anymore.

By Blogger Lena, at 4/22/2005 2:07 PM

  • 60%..not too bad. When i checked my answers i was kicking myself for some because i was going to answer that but i doubted myself.

    Have a good weekend guys.

By Blogger jenny, at 4/22/2005 2:14 PM

  • Hey Atrophy, you had it right if you are talking about putting things on a credit card. Don't listen to these dillusionsal ladies. I will help you . Come here. If you pay cash, yes the excahnge is close to 1GBP=2USD. That is the beauty of credit cards. The exchage rate is better. It is like you said. 2GBP=1USD. They fix the exchange rate for you. So make sure you charge everything. You will be so surprized at what the rate truely is. Trust me. I know. Enjoy buying everything your little heart desires. };)

By Blogger Eville Admin, at 4/22/2005 2:20 PM

  • 48%. I suck. Those NCAA questions killed me. And I can't imagine Bren saying that dancing quote! He didn't right?

By Blogger Janine, at 4/22/2005 2:21 PM

  • Whatever, haters!!! I'm bad at typing today. You're jus jellus that I have mad math skillz.

    By Blogger a, at 4/22/2005 2:25 PM

  • lala said: Yeah, atrophy.. We know how you like to exagerate numbers. I don't even think I have you on my buddy list.

Hah. Just wait till I get home and take a screen shot.

    By Blogger a, at 4/22/2005 2:28 PM

  • 70% yo. Is this test on a curve?

By Blogger crackinup, at 4/22/2005 2:46 PM

  • Janine -

    He super bad now
He's here to really blow your mind
    Dancing, dancing, dancing
    He's a dancing machine

    http://www.texas-trio.com/log/archives/1997/12/hot_shots.html

Crackinup - You know too much about Brendan. I think you might like him.

Atrophy - Can't wait to see that screen shot! Be sure to send it to me before midnight central time. That would be 2 am your time, right? And 6 pm London time?

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 3:07 PM

  • HATERZ. ALL OF YOU ARE HATERZ.

(Jerry Springer Mode) WHATEVA! WhATEVA! YOU DON'T KNOW ME!!

    By Blogger a, at 4/22/2005 3:28 PM

  • Meesh,I see now that I should read more articles about Bren. Say for instance.....that one. Probally would have helped my score out quite a bit. ;)

To defend myself, have I ever mentioned I have the memory of an elephant.

By Blogger blairbecky, at 4/22/2005 3:41 PM

  • Yeah Blair - I really wish I'd read that one before I took the quiz as well.

    Deena - ::throws chair::

    (and calculator)

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 3:46 PM

  • (and a laptop, with Excel.)

By Blogger crackinup, at 4/22/2005 3:50 PM

  • I had 43%. :( I guess I don't know much about Pumkin at all.

By Blogger BeachGirl, at 4/22/2005 3:52 PM

  • Thanks for the link Meesh. I guess I need to read more articles too!

By Blogger Janine, at 4/22/2005 3:54 PM

  • joining the thowing party

    (throws an abacus)

Blair, sister, it's ok. We love you anyway, you know that :)

By Blogger Lena, at 4/22/2005 3:55 PM

  • I just watched the video of Bren warming down. Is anyone else amused by the presence of lifeguards?

By Blogger Melissa, at 4/22/2005 4:09 PM

  • I was more amused by Bren doing all four strokes. My dream has finally come true.

    Wheee! *twirls* ;)

By Blogger blairbecky, at 4/22/2005 4:17 PM

  • I just reread that and it sounds like I thought it was funny he was doing all four strokes. Not so,Brenbear...I enjoyed it thoroughly. I gasped out loud when I saw him do the fly.

By Blogger blairbecky, at 4/22/2005 4:20 PM

  • Me too Blair! Well, I didn't gasp at the butterfly but I probably grinned. I've added that file to the Media gallery for those who haven't seen it yet.

    Right Here

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 4:26 PM

  • I had to watch the video on the sly. Someone caught a glimpse of my computer and yelled, "Melissa is looking at naked men over there!" *turns bright red* "NO! It's a swimming technique video!"

By Blogger Melissa, at 4/22/2005 4:32 PM

  • So what did you LEARN from the video Melissa? ::chin in hands waiting::

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 4:36 PM

  • (enjoys brand new laptop)

    By Blogger a, at 4/22/2005 4:36 PM

  • I have found myself wishing I was the lifeguard....... *starts dreaming about giving Brendan the kiss of life*

Yeah, its a tough job, but someone has to do it! (meaning me)

By Blogger Poppy, at 4/22/2005 4:44 PM

  • hahaha.....Dont worry Melissa that always happens to me because i have nothing else to do in school so im always watching the swimming videos and when i was watching the one of Brendan today, all the people in my class were like what is that? i saw like naked people in there, even the teacher and i got wicked embarrased.

    By Blogger alxcar6, at 4/22/2005 5:00 PM

  • Atrophy, I never said it was a new laptop. You underestimate my devious nature.

    Pop Quiz:

Q: What is the square root of atrophy? Is it...

A: 25 metres of butterfly during a 200 yard race
    B: 16.4 British pounds
C: One pint of British lager, Nigel
    D: OMGICANTADDOMG

By Blogger crackinup, at 4/22/2005 5:01 PM

  • BWAHAHAHAHAHA! You are such a math geek Kerry. You should chaperone Deena next week and make her buy you $300 jeans for your jelly. ;)

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 5:04 PM

  • The answer is D.

    HATERZ!!!!1111111111!!1!!1!! ONE!!!111!!

Brendan will protect me. WON'T YOU BRENDAN!?!? (waits)

P.S. Michelle, the world is not ready to see Kerry's jelly in $300 jeans.

    By Blogger a, at 4/22/2005 5:08 PM

  • (*hands atrophy a book to read while she waits. a math book.*)

I'm not sure what my jelly is, but knowing me I'd return the jeans and use the $300 to buy 10 new pairs on sale for $30 each. Atrophy, that's 300/10 = 30, use your new abacus.

On topic: Winzip is fritzing on my computer and I cannot unzip all these coolio videos I keep reading about. *weeps*

By Blogger crackinup, at 4/22/2005 5:13 PM

  • (weeps) Haterz. All of you. YOU DON'T KNOW ME. You ain't mah babeh's DADDEH!!

    By Blogger a, at 4/22/2005 5:16 PM

  • I love how you could not produce said AIM chat, Atrophy. Now I am sure you are creating something for comic effect. Like that purple speedo nemo shirt manip of Brendan.

By the way ... I just watched the Brendan cool down video. If I am ever stressed I am sure that will calm me right down. It was a surprisee to see him doing other strokes.

By Blogger lala, at 4/22/2005 5:18 PM

  • *Puppy dog eyes*

What did I do? I'm innocent for once. I didn't make fun of you for not being able to add. ;)

By Blogger blairbecky, at 4/22/2005 5:18 PM

  • (embraces blair)

BLAIR IS MY NEW FAVOURITE, Y'ALL.

And lala, I haven't gone home yet... but just y'all wait. Just. Y'all. Wait. Lala? Is krezeh.

    By Blogger a, at 4/22/2005 5:19 PM

  • Lala? Is krezeh.

Oh that means so much comming from you.

By the way.. shhhhhhhh. I am hypmotiiized by the slow slow slow stroke flip stroke. ::wipes tear:: Beautiful.

By Blogger lala, at 4/22/2005 5:25 PM

  • What did I learn? What did I learn... Um... I learned that I shouldn't have agreed to work tonight. If I was home, I could be watching all the videos I want and I could say all my evil thoughts aloud. Not that I'm having any evil thoughts...

By Blogger Melissa, at 4/22/2005 5:28 PM

  • someone needs to explain to me what's going on at the end of that video. It reminds me of when my friends and I would talk to each other under water. But we were 10 yo.

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 5:28 PM

  • Is that 10 in atrophy years, Michelle?

By Blogger crackinup, at 4/22/2005 5:32 PM

  • No, that would be 5 in Atrophy years. Or is it 20. hmmm.

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 5:32 PM

  • I dont know what is going on but it looked like fun.. but Brendan just pulls him out of the pool as an extention of his stroke. He goes from water to solid earth to water like an All Terrain Vehicle. Maybe that should be the t-Shirt "Brendan Hansen -ATV"

By Blogger lala, at 4/22/2005 5:35 PM

  • It DOES look like fun. Made me want to go swimming.

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 5:38 PM

  • I'm never living this down, am I?

    By Blogger a, at 4/22/2005 5:42 PM

  • No, he's an WWII DUKW. Okay, that means he's a duck boat for those of you who aren't nerds. He can go from land to water and back with no troubles. Or he's a hovercraft. *runs back into her nerd hidey-hole*

By Blogger Melissa, at 4/22/2005 5:43 PM

  • Atrophy - No. But we'll find a new target soon enough. No worries.

    Melissa - Nerd. ;)

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/22/2005 6:03 PM

  • I'm never living this down, am I?

Nope. But I'm sure that within 2 days they would more on target.

2 days human standard time. Might be like a 7-8 days in Atrophy's math, though... :P

By Blogger Lena, at 4/22/2005 7:26 PM

  • PS I've just watched the warm up vid.

I'm on my way to check myself into the Hospital. Flowers, Candies and Pumpkins are accepted as "Get Well Soon" gifts.

By Blogger Lena, at 4/22/2005 7:52 PM

  • 50%, I did horrible!! And that was after reading that article, lol.

By Blogger BoSoxHeather, at 4/22/2005 7:53 PM

  • Oh Melissa, you were always a nerd to me! ;) haha, jk. Hope that your 2:30 snack breaks are good!

By Blogger erin, at 4/22/2005 8:07 PM

  • I just wanted to say that you guys are too funny. I can only imagine what Montreal is going to be like.

Off the topic but I just was watch on VH1 the 100 Most Wanted Bodies and I saw both Brendan and Aaron on it. Very cute!

By Blogger kellypete, at 4/22/2005 9:20 PM

  • By Blogger a, at 4/23/2005 1:22 AM

  • BWAHAHAHAHAHA! That's hilarious. Thank you Deena.

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/24/2005 2:44 AM

  • Hahahahahahahha! Another great manip by atrophy. I mean really... Who would send 133 IMs to someone?

By Blogger lala, at 4/24/2005 1:32 PM

  • ::cries::

Oh man, I hope my BHO Membership card isn't taken away! I only got 35%!!

By Blogger Stephie Mc, at 4/24/2005 2:21 PM

  • I've seen Atrophy's manips - she's not that good.
