Well, credit where credit is due, if I did dolphin kick, I at least did not do so in full view of (1) the underwater camera (2) NBC analysts and (3) anyone in the crowd with two eyeballs and a basic understanding of swimming rules. In fact, I'm the opposite of Cheatjima ... there, everyone except the judges saw what was absolutely obvious. Here, no one except Miss Judge Michelle appears to have seen my alleged stunt. ;)

Dana Cara - I have tragic news....Krispy Kreme no longer sells gift certificates. I know it's not the same, but will dunkin' donuts gift certificates work for you?
And are you questioning my impartiality as a judge? Make sure your protest is in the official working language of FINA babe or talk to the hand. (I'm SUCH a sore loser. Sorry about that :P)

Honey, the protest is scribbled in French, written using my toes with purple crayon, and it's incomplete, but I went ahead and submitted it anyway. Why? Because if I'm going to dolphin-kick and get away with it, it's only fair that it creates conditions whereby stung judges will then try to retaliate against the victim's friends, because, well, when you've kicked the kid who deserved the gold and got cheated out of it once, what else is there to do besides try to kick his entire superpower team a second time?
Ridiculous. We were dying in the press corps over that one. I remember telling this girl who wrote for Le Monde that there's one thing held more sacred than winning in America: winning clean and square and classy.
Anyway, Miss Michelle, I am still so stung. Dolphin Kicked?!? I didn't even wear my hideous silver suit with matching silver cap. I was afraid I'd look like bait, like a shiny little minnow, and that a big shark would come and eat my entry right out of the BHO Trials prediction contest. ;)
