Well, best body... totally and completely! And the best tattoo was such a shame. You totally deserved that one too, Pumpkin. Of course, you know I voted for you.
By
Lena, at 4/11/2005 11:33 AM
Congrats! Of course, I have some outrage as to why you didn't win some of the others, but *shrug*, oh well.
By
afadingvoice, at 4/11/2005 11:48 AM
well now that i've seen it ... i must say i woulda voted for crockah's longhorn tattOOPS. oy.
By
Manda, at 4/11/2005 12:02 PM
But but...Brendan's longhorn tattoo is like Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny all rolled into one! I mean, we've all been told they exist, but has anyone really ever seen them? How can that not win!!??
By
Michelle, at 4/11/2005 12:05 PM
Meesh? Come here and sit down next to me, honey.
Now, I don't know if anyones ever told you but... Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny don't exist. I'm really sorry. Here's a Krispy Kreme gift certificate.
By
a, at 4/11/2005 12:13 PM
HA! Krispy Kreme doesn't sell gift certificates. YOU LIE! (Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny DO exist! They just don't exist for the bad girls :p)
By
Michelle, at 4/11/2005 12:21 PM
So..i already posted this but now its slightly more on topic..
if anyone wants to come see michael's tattoo in person, he is going to be on The Today Show this wednesday talking about his new book...if you are going to be in the city and want to come, let me know...i can try to put you on the list and take you up to the green room. (where i will be spending the entire morning hahaha)
By
suzanne, at 4/11/2005 12:36 PM
Wheeeee! Thanks for the heads up Suzanne - you rock! I think there are a few BHOer's in New York and at least one of them is a Phelps fan.
By
Michelle, at 4/11/2005 12:38 PM
i forgot, i've been meaning to ask ...
who left the guys a note saying "texas trio, show us your boobs" in indy?
cuz my friends and i got accused of it by coach reese. ("are you the girls who left the note?") we emphatically denied it cuz, let's face it, we usually get that view w/o having to ask for it! :) but i was just curious ...
By
Manda, at 4/11/2005 12:43 PM
Meesh, that was the point. None of those guys exist, nor do Krispy Kreme gift certificates. GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
I'm so witty.
Manda, I wish I could say it was me, but I wasn't even at Indy. However, that DOES give me an excellent idea for a sign for Duel in the Pool...
By
a, at 4/11/2005 12:57 PM
OK... what is this about Bren's tattoo not existing? *grabs tissue*
Please tell me you're joking... it exists... I know it does...
*sits in the corner muttering*
He would not have lied to us.

Suzanne, I work literally within sight of the Today Show, our windows look out onto the plaza. We should meet at the concourse for lunch sometime soon - Cucina? :)
D
By
Dana Cara, at 4/11/2005 1:12 PM
atrophy! oh no, now i'm gonna be the one "that started the boobs obsession" ... unless someone else fesses up quick to leaving that note!! :) come on, help me out here, girls.
By
Manda, at 4/11/2005 1:12 PM
Brendan's tattoo most definitely exists....and its GLLLOOOORRRRIOUS!hahahaha
not that i've ever seen it.
another off topic and im pretty sure you've discusses before..but are any of you on facebook?
(do i have to drink for asking that? cause im at work right now, but im more then willing to run down to a bar and take a quick shot. just let me know )
By
suzanne, at 4/11/2005 1:13 PM
suzanne, so he's going to be on Wednesday? My friend is planning on going is there any way she could get in contact with you about being put on a list? If you can email me a reply so that it doesn't have to take up space here, I'd appreciate it!
By
Jessie, at 4/11/2005 1:20 PM
IT WAS ME AND MY FRIENDS! We were intoxicated while making that sign (we are all of legal drinking age, do not fret). Weren't we oh so ironic? I wanted the sign to say "Say No to Crack," but it was vetoed. We wanted to have the most ridiculous sign there. We offended this one woman, IT WAS AWESOME. Her 13 year old son thought it was hilarious though. My friend was too chicken to give the sign to Aaron when we were sitting right behind him after the 100m backstroke, so she gave it to some other dude on the Texas team. We were curious as to whatever happened with it. There was also a party invite on the back, needless to say no one showed! We were celebrating the Illini victory that night. Can't believe Eddie Reese saw it HAHAHA. I knew it would be the hit of the locker room.
By
growamustache, at 4/11/2005 1:23 PM
Oh my god, I now have to make a sign that says SAY NO TO CRACK.
Or, alternately SAY YES TO (BUTT)CRACK with "butt" in smaller letters.
By
a, at 4/11/2005 1:30 PM
DO IT!
By
growamustache, at 4/11/2005 1:34 PM
Yay to Bren winning in all those categories! He really rocked those awards! As to the tattoo..my bias sways in a different direction for that category.
As to the sign, Manda, I would *love* to take credit for that one, but alas, I was stuck at home watching the results on a computer, so there is no way I coudld have gotten it there.
Deena that sign must be made!
By
Sarah, at 4/11/2005 1:35 PM
Oooh, trust me. It will be made.
I'm thinking this will work.
By
a, at 4/11/2005 1:48 PM
growamustache ...
classic! i was wondering, though, at the reasoning behind your having to ASK to see the boobs ... like we didn't get enough! :) alcohol makes you forgetful though.
By
Manda, at 4/11/2005 1:53 PM
Suzanne,
You do have to take a shot. Go now...
I would gladly come meet you( and I know DC would as well), but I have acquired a monster cold from a weekend on the beach in Fl. with the lovely Dana.
We should all meet up though- have fun with Michael.
congrats on all the well deserved awards Brendan!
By
Heather, at 4/11/2005 2:29 PM
So i plan to spend the entire 3 hour show in the green room - oh michael i didnt know you were on! what a surprise.
Dana Cara...i have become a HUGE fan of City 75..loooove their chicken fingers- which building are you in? Come down on Wednesday!!! it will be so fun :)
By
suzanne, at 4/11/2005 2:40 PM

By
suzanne, at 4/11/2005 2:42 PM
The horns are a big tease just like Bren. Tatttoo,I'm a nice girl,I promise. Dont' hide. Now I did get to see the rings and they are much more friendly. Thanks rings for being so nice and letting me see you. Now if only I could sweet talk the horns into mkaing an appearance. *sigh*
Congrats Bren on winning all those catagories. Wheee!
By
blairbecky, at 4/11/2005 3:04 PM
re: horns
see post above.
they are glorious.
By
suzanne, at 4/11/2005 3:09 PM
You are such a tease Suzanne. You and Brendan both. Deena says they don't exist and she almost has me convinced.
By
Michelle, at 4/11/2005 3:18 PM
re: horns
I *know* they exist. I can feel it... and I come from a long lineage of witchcraft in my family... my second sight won't have me fooled. I just need a prove of it and as I recall, May is coming by... soon... soon.
By
Lena, at 4/11/2005 3:39 PM
michelle:
Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere
A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night
Working hard to get my fill,
everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice,
just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on
Don't stop believin'
Hold on to the feelin'
Streetlight people
(pump your fist as you sing)
By
suzanne, at 4/11/2005 3:44 PM
PML Suzanne - I think you're the one with second sight. I just bought Journey's Captured CD over the weekend and have been listening to it non-stop. (and I'm only a little bit embarrassed to confess it).
You're tearin' me apart
Every day, every day
You're tearin' me apart
Oh what can I say?
You're tearin' me apart
By
Michelle, at 4/11/2005 3:54 PM
Oh no,not Journey! ;)
Lena,I'm convinced that they exist too and May is pretty close. Now Bren you wouldn't want to disappoint all of these sweet, adorable, funny, hot, etc. girls would you?
*Pops out lower lip and makes puppy dog eyes*
By
blairbecky, at 4/11/2005 3:59 PM
Blair, I'm sure Brendan is a man of his word and if he said so, he will reveal the tattoo in May.
I know he would not have lied to us.
By
Lena, at 4/11/2005 4:01 PM
Wait, wait, when did I ever say the tattoo doesn't exist?
By
a, at 4/11/2005 4:05 PM
HAHA...now i have yet another reason to go to montreal. To see the hilarious signs you girls are thinking up!..
wont be in NY Wed. but ill be watching on TV. (i dont have class til 1pm.yay!)
By
jenny, at 4/11/2005 4:11 PM
Jenny, the signs I'm planning to make are going to be at Duel in the Pool. :) California is where the par-tay is going to be at!
By
a, at 4/11/2005 4:12 PM
I work right above Radio City (literally). OMG, Bryant Park Grille, I haven't been there since college ... city 75, I got way burned out on their chicken fingers during my last job (all guys, chicken all the time) but they have lots of tasty things there. I'm a huge fan of Hakata on 48th, sushi, been? (next to Hurley's)
By
Dana Cara, at 4/11/2005 4:18 PM
michelle...
when listening to journey you MUST pump your fist...not in an arsinio hall way but more in a "im punching the ceiling like whoa" kind of way.
if any of you go out to the hamptons and have been to the drift inn, you know what i mean. its also something that happens at rathbones, and brother jimmys when im around.
i was also known to whip out the pump at the sports illustrated parties in greece.
By
suzanne, at 4/11/2005 4:18 PM
DC:
WHere did you go to college?? Bryant park grill is so fun when its nice! sutton place terrace is good too..except this weekend it was chilly up there.
this is my first summer in the city, im a hamptons girl and im trying to find as many bars as possible that are outside, so i can pretend to be drinking margaritas on the beach.
MICHELLE:
If there is a chat this week, i would like to add a question:
brendan- what is your favorite journey song?
By
suzanne, at 4/11/2005 4:25 PM
That's an excellent question Suzanne - I'm just not sure Eville Admin will let you ask it. I hear she's not a Journey fan. (someone needs to set EA straight yo!)
Can we stop talking about food? I'm STARVING.
By
Michelle, at 4/11/2005 4:41 PM
suzanne - there are a few of us on here with beach house shares. I assume you didn't go to school @ NY (asking about outdoor bars) -- send an email to tiger480@gmail.com so we don't take the whole thread off topic
By
Dana Cara, at 4/11/2005 4:42 PM
EA doesn't like Journey? I'm completely shocked.
Heather,I'm completely jealous of y'all going to Fl. for the weekend. Sorry to hear you got a cold though. That sucks.
Lena,of course I have faith in Bren. I was just teasing. :P
By
blairbecky, at 4/11/2005 4:47 PM
maybe i can bribe eville with some more pictures from greece...
i was starving too michelle...sent my cute assistant down to get candy, now im enjoying some sour straws and gummi worms.
By
suzanne, at 4/11/2005 4:48 PM
EA! journey is better than your beloved dark chocolate. come on! Have you tried the new dark choc m&ms?
Blair, FL was fun and much needed. Now I am as red as a lobster( oops) and tired
( I think I will blame that on Dana).
suzanne- I live pretty close to Rathbones.
By
Heather, at 4/11/2005 5:00 PM
loooove rathbones
bernie (saturday bartender) is sooo cute and such a sweetheart.
ok so who is coming down on wednesday to see phelps himself??
By
suzanne, at 4/11/2005 5:02 PM
*rubs eyes*
I step away from the thread for a few hours and it goes ballistic. Ahh, harkens back to the 100+ reply days of BHO.
*nostalgic*
By
afadingvoice, at 4/11/2005 5:21 PM
I remember those days too, Kris, luv...
And I can honestly say that I've never heard Journey. I don't think that ever reached Argentina.
*goes back to her crackers*
I was hungry too.
By
Lena, at 4/11/2005 5:38 PM
There will be no journey. Ever. I use journey cd's to blind out-fielders during baseball games. That is how good at being bad journey cd's are.
Dark chocolate M&M's?? I have only dreamed of such a thing. Heather, are you sure you aren't saying that just to get on my dark side?
And the word was we would see the longhorn tattoo before May.
By
Eville Admin, at 4/11/2005 5:42 PM
So now I cOooooooooooooooooooooooooooome to YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU with ooooooooooooooooooooooooooopen aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarms hoping you'll seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee what your love means to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee open aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarms.
By
a, at 4/11/2005 6:13 PM
When next I see you in chat Atrophy, I will use the silence button.
By
Eville Admin, at 4/11/2005 6:17 PM
Deena,I dare you to sing it exactly like that to Aaron next time you meet him. That would be priceless. ;)
By
blairbecky, at 4/11/2005 6:17 PM
Blair, I don't want to kill the poor man. Otherwise I totally would.

well, congrats to bren on winning all those awards! yay! =D
wish i could spend the entire 3 hours in that green room with you suzanne...but sadly, i'll just have to watch it on tv. what time will it be on?
deena, i think that aaron will be too entranced with you to be deafend...i mean bothered by your singing ;)
By
erin, at 4/11/2005 6:40 PM
dana, heather, go to your corners. no more speaking of florida! coulda, woulda, shoulda.
next time. ;)
all this journey talk. i used to sit by the TV and wait for the "oh sherry" video to come on. i was 7. steve perry might have been my first crush. his feathered mullet and acid wash.
i feel a montreal 80's karoake night needs to happen. michelle is up first to sing Lights. ;)
btw- deena you are adorable.
eville admin - have you heard of smidgens?
By
swimphilly78, at 4/11/2005 6:50 PM
I'm late to this party! Yay for Brendan! Those shoulders? *swoon*
Congrats!
Oh and at the risk of facing EA's wrath:
Anyway you want it,
That's the way you need it,
Anyway you want it!
I was alone, I never knew,
What good love could do.
Then we touched,then we sang,
About the lovin' things.
All night, all night,
Oooh, every night.....
hee! I loved Journey.
By
Teagan35, at 4/11/2005 7:31 PM
swimphilly- a montreal 80's karoake night sounds like a blast. I'm so game for it, but of course yes, Michelle is first up *hands mike*
Hehee ;)
By
LongHornLove, at 4/11/2005 7:52 PM
Teagan, that song is totally my ringtone! Journey rocks (pumps fist)
By
Alison, at 4/11/2005 8:18 PM
Teagan. I can silence you too. I am telling you all, I don't want to hear any journey in chat. Even himself may suffer my wrath if he breaks into the journey crap.....
By
Eville Admin, at 4/11/2005 8:29 PM
No, no, EA. No Journey from me in chat. I learned my lesson that afternoon I was almost chased out for singing "Cool Rider".
By
Teagan35, at 4/11/2005 8:32 PM
EA is not the boss of me!
When the lights go down in the City
And the sun shines on the bay
I want to be there in my City
Ooh, ooh
So you think you're lonely
Well my friend I'm lonely too
I want to get back to my City by the bay
Ooh, ooh
It's sad, oh there's been mornings out on the road without you,
Without your charms,
Ooh, my, my, my, my, my, my
Oooh, oooh, oooooooh
*raises lighter*
When the lights go down in the City
And the sun shines on the bay
I want to be there in my City
Ooh, ooh
By
Michelle, at 4/11/2005 8:49 PM
*raises lighter with michelle and sways melodically*
By
erin, at 4/11/2005 9:08 PM
80's karoake night in Montreal? i'm there!
I shotty "take on me"
just watch me horribly miss the high note.. all right!
By
afadingvoice, at 4/11/2005 9:09 PM
Meesh is such a rebel. *Wipes tear* I'm so proud. Now what is even worse than Journey...
By
blairbecky, at 4/11/2005 9:12 PM
aw come on, you know you all loved Journey's video for Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) with Jonathan Cain playing the keyboards attached high up on the wall, and Steve Perry leaning up against the wall in that rockstar pose......
By
JHD, at 4/11/2005 9:25 PM
Umm...... I dont like Journey either, But I can sing it. So I will be in on the Journey Karaoke night. Na na nana nana, na na nana na, na na nana nana na nana na na.
By
lala, at 4/11/2005 9:26 PM
Whatever happens, no "Open Arms." Please, I'm begging here.
I was actually at Bryant Park on Saturday, but I hit the Stage Door Deli by Penn Station as opposed to the Bryant Park Grill. It was such a nice day.
Now, if you don't mind me I'll be sitting in the back admiring the HoogenHair.
By
Verbal, at 4/11/2005 9:27 PM
ok seriously now...can we do another picture/introducing ourselves posts? cause i missed the first one, and just had to send a pic to dana cara so she could find me downstairs at rockefeller center..i felt like i was answering a personal ad and it felt weird.
btw..im a virgo, love long walks on the beach, making out under the bleachers, mc hammer really gets me in the mood...
:)
By
suzanne, at 4/11/2005 9:34 PM
Suzanne, you can send a picture any time and Michelle will add it to the Gallery. This goes for everyone here. Just email it to: admin@brendanhansenonline.com and you will find youself among the many happy bloggers included.
By
lala, at 4/11/2005 9:49 PM
Suzanne, you can find me at the gallery, although I'm too far away to make it to the US tomorrow, plus I have to discuss archery with my coach tomorrow night.
I'm a taurus, I love long walks at the park, museums and archery. ;)
By
Lena, at 4/11/2005 10:01 PM
Lena, I'm also a Taurus, and our birthdays are coming up ... yay
Suz I looked at your picture and I decided you weren't my type (personal ad ... HA) Playing ... she's cute! And I knew the guys in the picture with her! Hot hot hot rowers.
Girls, somehow Heather and I went to Florida and came back with colds. When I cough I sound like a barking seal ... I am still feeling the aftereffects of last night's nyquil.
If we're going to play Journey, I feel like "Faithfully" is an absolute MUST ---
By
Dana Cara, at 4/12/2005 8:58 AM
Eville... dark choc m&m's are new. They are being promoted with Star Wars. They really do exist. They had them at my work last week, but I haven't seen them in the stores. The colors are whacky- like mauve and dusty blue.
Journey used to remind me of the end of an evening, when people were singing etc.. Now it reminds me of the treadmill. Bizarre, I know . . . I have two journey albums on my ipod and I think my ipod personally selects to play journey songs over and over while on shuffle.
Dana, switch to tylenol pm. fabulous dreams and sleep.
By
Heather, at 4/12/2005 9:29 AM
I agree "faithfully" is my favorite and is a MUST.
