    kletus.

By Blogger Kimberly, at 4/26/2005 1:24 PM

  • Seriously, how cute are Brendan and Coach Reese in the pool deck vids?

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/26/2005 2:05 PM

  • Too bad my stupid computer is too slow to watch any of these...*tear* Maybe I can go to school and watch them, should I risk being caught looking at half-naked swimmers? I guess that's a risk I'll have to take...

By Blogger erin, at 4/26/2005 3:19 PM

  • It's totally worth it Erin.

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/26/2005 3:29 PM

  • Do it Erin, take it from someone who gets kicked out of class for it..it's worth it. Unless you are failing, then it's still worth it but don't get caught!

*hugs Erin* my partner in crime!

By Blogger Kimberly, at 4/26/2005 4:03 PM

  • Videos are lovely! Thanks to the both of you for bringing the hot. It really is much appreciated.

The warn down video is probably my favorite. SO weird to see Bren doing fly. Cool though.

By Blogger Sarah, at 4/26/2005 5:45 PM

  • Just a question: Does anyone else get excited, almost as if you were right there with them, when you watch the videos?

Because I know I do (especially when I watch that hilarious Peirsol one with him dancing--I feel so embarassed for him).

By Blogger Jaclyn, at 4/26/2005 6:20 PM

  • No Jaclyn, you are not alone. I've admitted before that I've been known to squeal at my computer (or TV) even if I'm watching a video of a tape delay. "KICK! Oh, wait, this was two months ago."

Where is this hilarious Peirsol dancing video I keep reading about? Hah, Hilarious Peirsol. That would make a great band name.

By Blogger crackinup, at 4/26/2005 7:48 PM

  • You can find the video at aaronpeirsol.org

But one warning: Do not have anything in your mouth towards the end of the clip... you will find it all over your computer screen...

By Blogger Jaclyn, at 4/26/2005 8:16 PM

  • Is that video of Aaron Peirsol the one where the show Amanda beard, Kaitlin Sandeno and Ian Thorpe?

beacuse i have it but they dont really show Aaron dancing that much....

    By Blogger alxcar6, at 4/26/2005 11:03 PM

  • hmm.. i can't find that video... what file was is it in? the wrold championship one?

By Blogger caity, at 4/26/2005 11:21 PM

  • It's under other with the videos...

Or you can copy and paste this: http://www.aaronpeirsol.org/cgi-bin/thumbnails.php?album=36

By Blogger Jaclyn, at 4/27/2005 12:19 AM

  • Ah, the old Access Hollywood video. Always good for a chuckle. Yes, Alex, that's the correct one.

By Blogger crackinup, at 4/27/2005 11:48 AM

  • Y'all just don't recognize good dancing when you see it. If Aaron had busted out his best Milli Vanilli I'd be laughing but ain't nuthin' wrong with the white boy shuffle he's workin'.

By Blogger Michelle, at 4/27/2005 12:31 PM

  • I will admit that if he was working it on my I'd be fine with it...

By Blogger Jaclyn, at 4/27/2005 12:37 PM

  • Awww, you're welcome, y'all!

Can I confess something to everyone- something I'm a little ashamed of? I've been too intimidated to post much over here. I'm afraid I'm not in with the in-crowd, and so I just lurk and laugh at y'all's funny posts without ever speaking up (and let me tell you that laughing is NOT encouraged at my big scary law firm). Anyway, I resolve to actually post, even though I feel I've got nothing new to contribute.

Wait- I thought of something! I live in Austin, graduated from UT and worked all 4 years of undergrad for UT Athletics... does that give me potential BHO cred? Maybe? A little? No?

If not, I can always ply y'all with more videos...

    By Blogger Texas-Gal, at 4/27/2005 12:43 PM

  • *hugs Texas-gal* we are nice girls I promise!

ps. I think I owe Jenny $5.00 because I thought you were EA!

By Blogger Kimberly, at 4/27/2005 1:00 PM

  • Welcome Texas-Gal. I am glad some people find a way to say hello without threats. Always pleases me to see a fresh face. Also great to see some old ones delurk. It is like Dark chocolate to me. (Still looking for the "Dark Side" m&ms)

I know there are others who want to play. I like Dodge Ball... Anyone up for a game?

By Blogger Eville Admin, at 4/27/2005 1:51 PM

  • Hey Texas Gal! Glad to see you here. Feel free to post whenever. I don't usually post here much, which kinda stinks on my part 'cause the BHO ladies have so much fun here.

    ttyl!

By Blogger Melanie, at 4/27/2005 2:27 PM

  • Hey Texas-gal, I did not forget you which is actually quite surprising because I am absolutely horrible with names....just ask Michelle...but I do remember a while ago I described my favorite picture of Bren and you came up with it...(at least I am pretty sure it was you)...I also lurked around your site the last few days, just checking out what you had on my nephew...and see my favorite picture is there!!!

By Blogger Aunt K, at 4/27/2005 3:33 PM

  • EA the darkside m&m's aren't anything special. They only taste a tad different then the normal ones, so if you can't find them don't feel like you are missing out. haha.

By Blogger crockersmyhero, at 4/27/2005 3:57 PM

  • Eville, I'm up for dodge ball..please don't pick me last for your team.

ps. I have some dark m&m's on my desk...if you pick me I just might give them to you!

ps.2 Hi Aunt K! Do you have some snicker cookies for me?

By Blogger Kimberly, at 4/27/2005 4:25 PM

  • Look- two posts in one day! I'm getting better!

Thanks for the cool words, y'all- am I in the club now? Can we do things like hex Aggies and make fun of Sooners? (we don't have any Aggies or Sooners on here, do we?)

If y'all are thinking about the Counsilman Classic, I saw that MP.us has a link to heavily discounted tickets- from $32 to $20. Still not FREE like the AmSCC, but it ain't bad!

    By Blogger Texas-Gal, at 4/27/2005 4:33 PM

  • Hi, Aunt K! I can't believe you remembered that from so long ago- I had even forgotten about that picture thing until I read your post. Your memory is way better than mine.

And what's this about dark M&M's? I've never heard of them! I try not to make trips down the candy aisles...

    By Blogger Texas-Gal, at 4/27/2005 4:50 PM

  • Texas-Gal i'll be a Sooner next year, but don't worry i don't take offense since i live in Austin. I pretty much get nagged about it everytime someone asks where i'm going to college next year.

By Blogger Anna, at 4/27/2005 4:58 PM

  • I am so sorry to hear that, Anna- you seem like such a sweet and intelligent girl!

    Kidding....

    Anna's a Land Thief! Anna's a Dirt Burglar! Anna's going to Mobilehoma!

    By Blogger Texas-Gal, at 4/27/2005 5:16 PM

  • Hi Texas-gal I also remember you. I tend to zero in on things in Texas. Welcome back!

I saw the M&M ad on TV. That was so funny. Darth Vador is asking the plain M&M if he want to come over to the dark side? I going to try and get a bag for our sisters' weekend. Sound yummy!

By Blogger Mrs. H, at 4/27/2005 5:28 PM

  • Haha trust me Texas-Gal i'd much rather be going to UT.

By Blogger Anna, at 4/27/2005 5:36 PM

  • Hey Mrs. H! I understand the Texas thing. Let's just say that my non-Texan friends get a constant earful about how UT is truly THE University, and I constantly make everyone do Hook 'Em Horns in every group picture. It's addictive! I even used to do it at Notre Dame football games when ND would score!

It's like an automatic reflex... Something good happens? Hook 'Em! Something exciting happens? Hook 'Em! I think that's why there's so many pictures of Bren doing the Horns... once you start, you can't stop!

And Anna- perhaps we should organize burnt orange lifeline packages to you in Norman next year. Otherwise all that crimson and cream is gonna rub off on you!

    By Blogger Texas-Gal, at 4/27/2005 6:05 PM

  • Let's just say that my non-Texan friends get a constant earful about how UT is truly THE University

    I know. *g*

Hee-hee...but, hey--I've got my Texas swimming T-shirt, and my Texas swimming keychain, so you've had some influence on me. :)

But I don't know what I'm gonna do come September 10th...I mean, that game has me *all* conflicted....

By Blogger Shannen, at 4/27/2005 6:27 PM

  • But I don't know what I'm gonna do come September 10th...I mean, that game has me *all* conflicted....

    That's football BTW...not swimming. :)

I'll be less conflicted once I score tickets, of course. :)

By Blogger Shannen, at 4/27/2005 6:28 PM

  • A car passed me the other day that had the longhorns UPSIDE DOWN in the back window!! They had a Sooner license plate frame. They ran a red light. I honked and flashed the horns as I drove by at about the same time they were getting flashed by the local police. I have never been to Texas and have no real desire to go there except to see the swim team.. (What have you people done to me?!) So don't worry UT.. California has your back! (Makes me think I deserve to see that tattoo.)

By Blogger lala, at 4/27/2005 6:52 PM

  • Lala!!! as a current UT student with a healthy dose of contempt for the Sooners (no offense to anyone who is a fan)..you are an ANGEL!! Classic.
