100 Breast Semi-Final Results and News Links

Brendan Hansen - 59.75
Kosuke Kitajima - 59.78
Oleg Lisogor - 1:00.05

Everyone is having a great time. Sean "Cutie McHottie" Hansen and John "Jello" Lohn are even cuter in person, hard to believe I know. Peter Bick is a total rockstar as are all the Hansens. The rest of the girls and I are exhausted after our first full day of swimming but excited for the finals tomorrow. Here are a few article links until then and hopefully by tomorrow I'll have some photos uploaded as well. You guys following online send Brendan all your positive energy tomorrow night. Maybe we'll see a new personal best from him.

World Swimming Championship results

Break from training didn't faze Peirsol

A stunner: Phelps fails to qualify for 400 free final

Rule change won't affect Kitajima-Hansen showdown

  • GO BRENDAN!!!!!!! Im sending all good vibes your way. We are behind you 110%

oh and about that Peirsol article...its crazy how fast Aaron is and its going to be exciting to see what he can do this week.

  • I am officially green with envy! Michelle, you are so lucky. Sean "cutie Mc-hottie", and Johnny angel. How has your head not exploded? Not to mention those other guys what are their names...Brendan, Aaron, and Mr. Shannen himself (aka...Crockah). I would be dead. Dead I tell you.

Goooooooooooooood luck Brendan! Kick some dolphin butt (or would dorsal fin be more appropriate?) Nonetheless, good luck.

  • I heard through the grapevine that not only is McHottie cuter in person, he's also a real sweetie. *swoon* (So jealous) Glad you're all having fun.

OK, group mantra for the day...

    GO BRENDAN!!!!!!

  • GO BRENDAN!!!

I'm glad you're having a good time... and I have WR vibes today!

By Blogger Lena, at 7/25/2005 6:41 AM

  • Woo! I have a feeling Brendan is definitely breaking his record tonight. I noticed last night while watching it that he seemed to be really easily in control of his heat and it didn't seem like he was really pushing it even though he was faster than he was in the prelims. Meanwhile, Cheato got challenged in his heat and definitely had to work harder than Brendan did to win. So it looks like Brendan is *totally* prepared for this race (not that we had any doubts) and he's definitely taking it tonight.

And of course, they'll all be pumped up by Ian winning the 50 fly and taking back his world record. :)

How's are you holding up, Mrs. H? I've heard you get a little nervous at these things. ;)

By Blogger Shannen, at 7/25/2005 8:01 AM

  • LOL Shannen. I think Mrs. H will be ok as long as she has some of the girls to keep her as calm as we did!

By Blogger Kimberly, at 7/25/2005 8:14 AM

  • hey yall

Put on the blinders and dont look back..not many people get a second chance...I got mine and its going to be fun. Thanks for all the support over the past few weeks and i apologize for not chatting just had to prepare. Talk to yall soon...diggin the vibes. B dogg

  • Heh--I was gonna say, "Make sure you scream in his ear when you beat him, Bren" but then I remembered that you've got more class than Cheato! :D

Maybe it's a good thing I don't get there until Wednesday! Between this race and Ian in the 50 fly, I'd be a disaster up in the stands if I was there tonight!

By Blogger Shannen, at 7/25/2005 12:16 PM

Those records belong to one person and one person only, Brendan Hansen. That's the way it's always going to be. At the end of this race, Cheato won't know what hit him. Good Luck!!! And I totally agree about the picture with his mom. Adorable and a half!
