Wheeeee! I'm BACK!
Just got back from Boston - it was a loooong weekend and it was a bit of a mixed bag.
Bad Stuff:
Marry, Shag or Cliff?
1. Ian Crocker
2. Aaron Peirsol
3. Brendan Hansen
Bad Stuff:
- I was allergic to something in our hotel room and kept breaking out in hives.
- It rained and was cold but that's kind of what you expect from Boston, yeah?
- Dinner at Kingfish Hall. Grit in the chowder and the food was only so-so. Todd English = Overrated.
- I ate so many Papa Beard's Cream Puffs that they gave me a frequent buyer card (I was only there 3 days!)
- I couldn't talk my son into a Duck Tour and I really wanted to go amphibious. :(
- 3 hour ground delay out of Boston tonight which meant nearly missing my connection in Atlanta. Thank goodness Atlanta was also having problems.
- We had amazing Italian food at Fiore's on Hanover served by the cutest waiter ever from North Carolina. I tipped him way too much but he was worth it. ;) We followed it with amazing Tirimisu from Mike's Pastry.
- The Ansel Adams exhibition at the Museum of Art. Heck, the entire museum. I could have spent a week doing only that.
- Cute security guy at the USS Constitution in funky old-school navy uniform. He wore those britches with very little trace of embarrassment.
- My Russian cabbies. They all listened to NPR and honked at everything...constantly...and for no discernable reason.
- The Berklee Shwag including ear plugs that I can carry on my keychain (I've only needed these for the past 12 years or so!)
- PAPA BEARD'S CREAM PUFFS!
- Still no Brendan news. The best I can do it this little tidbit about his clinic over the weekend. It's hardly worth posting even. Heavy sigh....
- Thanks to Lala for taking care of BHO while I was away and keeping you guys entertained. Also glad to see some new faces posting in my absence. I'll try not to take it personally. :p
Marry, Shag or Cliff?
1. Ian Crocker
2. Aaron Peirsol
3. Brendan Hansen

21 Comments:
I'm back too after being away from home for 10 days, first at the Olympic Academy (which was awesome) and later for the first National Archery Team Trials. They're gonna hold trials from now until March for the Odesur Games in November 2006. This also marked my first tournament at Senior Level (First Level, whatever you want to call it). I sucked big time, but I have everything to look forward to!!
Anyway, it's good to be back, and sorry I missed all the surveys and all that.
but I'll never miss a MSC game
Ian Bear: Shag, especially with that scruff
Aaron Bear: sorry, bad company babe, Cliff
Pumpkin: Marry me?

Glad to hear that you had a good time for the most part, Michelle! I've only been to Boston twice and that was many, many years ago, so I don't remember much about it.
m/s/c? Ugh. I hate it when I have to choose among the trio.
Ian: Shag (only if the scruff stays)
Aaron: Cliff (ouch, that hurt)
Brendan: Marry

I'm glad our two future Olympians are back! (Lena in archery and Michelle in cream puff eatting!)
As for MSC...
Ian Crocker: Cliff to the waiting arms of Jenny
Aaron Peirsol: Shag. We could never marry. Our poor children would have the worst fro's ever! Honestly I care to much about my hypothetical unborn children.
Brendan Hansen: Marry! Not only do you get to be Mrs. Brendan Hansen, but you get to be part of the best family ever!

Ian: Marry - he looks so cute and I could live with those eyes forever.
Aaron: Cliff
Brendan: Shag - he is the fittest in the group!

I'm going to Boston myself this weekend, for a concert. :)
Ian: Cliff, unfortunately
Aaron: I'd have to marry Aaron; I'd probably get to shag him if I married him.
Brendan: Shag...he's so lovely.

Good to hear you had a relatively good time in Boston Michelle. We stopped there on our way to Maine one year and it seemed lovely; I'd like to go there for a longer vacation sometime.
MSC...this is just cruel...
Ian: Shag. Those lovely eyes and scruff...yeah...
Aaron: Cliff. Eek, that hurts.
Brendan: Marry. An awesome family, a good sense of humor, dedication, that smile, those eyes, scruffy, clean shaven....he's got the whole package. Yeah, I think I could deal with that.

Meesh, welcome back! I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. Every experience has good and bad I guess. The good is worth it I guess. :)
Congrats Lena! I'm glad you had fun and have advanced so far with your training.
Hmmm....Choices,choices,choices....
1. Ian Crocker - Shag
2. Aaron Peirsol - Cliff
3. Brendan Hansen - Marry *This was a hard call right here. ;)

Awe yay Meesh is back!! Sorry that there were so many negatives about your trip, love. I hope it was good overall though. :)
Lena- thats awesome love! SO nice ot see you back too, and that you've been training your butt off :P
On to the game...
1. Ian Crocker: MARRY, MARRY, MARRY. Did I mentions Id' marry him in a heartbeat? Yeah. Love the Crockah.
2. Aaron Peirsol: See, buddy, you are totally not my type of guy, but I do think you'd make an awesome bffl. So, no cliffing, but no shagging either.
3. Brendan Hansen: Awe, B-Han. Shag the lovelieness. I'd have to be pretty dumb to pass that up.

Welcome back Michelle and Lena glad you both had a good time! I thought I kept the house seamlessly while you were gone Meesh. We even cleaned up the chatroom after the party... Oops! I forgot! No Parties! I mean everything ran smoothly.
As far as M/S/C/ goes.... I will fill it out when you do. hee hee!

lala, at 10/11/2005 2:32 PM
Ok lala, here you go...
Aaron - Marry. He seems like the type who wouldn't be home much and the last thing I need is another 20 something boy eating my food and breathing my air.
Ian - Shag. He's too emo to marry.
Brendan - Cliff. Totally overrated.
(OMG J/K!)

Michelle took my answers!
Let's just say the home that the one I marry and I will live in, is at the bottom of the cliff. And we call it the Shag Shack. So everyone wins!

MSC with the Trio is tough, but without further ado...
1. Ian- Sorry Crockah, but you gotta take the dive!
2. Aaron- Shag (Repeatedly!!)
3. Brendan- Marry (Just waiting on Bren to open up his schedule so we can set a date!)

Michelle! I'm so glad that you had a lovely time in Boston! I miss it very much...I've never had grit in my clam chowder?! I also had no idea that they have Beard Papas in Boston now. I think it needs to be explained how amazing those things are. I've only had them twice, but the store was about 10 blocks from my old office and on really bad days those things were tempting!
Marry/ Cliff/ Shag?
Awww I can't throw any of them off the cliff. They are too pretty! If they are really a trio, they should all move in with me. I'll take great care of them:)
