Anyway, I'll fill mine out later...
    :)

  • I'm with you Meredith. I think the media builds someone up to be a superstar and then looks for opportunities to knock them down. Now I know that Michael Phelps was not innocent in his rise to fame, he was a very active part of it. But the way the media has gone after him calling 2005 a failure for him is totally rediculous. I also think it is odd how people think they can't really admire two people who do the same thing. Michael is not a cheat. He works hard. He may not be the best with some of his fans lately, and he made a few judgement errors, but he is a great swimmer. I just wish that more swimmers would get the kind of overage that that kid gets. That is one of the things I really love about Australian media. They respect all of their elite swimmers. Some more than others but people know who they are. Now it sounds like Mikey is my fave celebrity. He isn't my very fave (top 20), but I don't get the hate either.

Swimming, dancing, sleep, laughing, liking my job.

    34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
New to 2005 would have to be Blake on So You Think You Can Dance.

    35. What political issue stirred you the most?
    Katrina.

    36. Who did you miss?
My family, and a couple friends who moved away.

    37. Who was the best new person you met?
Ah, too many candidates to answer that just yet. Ask me again in six months. ;-)

    38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005:
Never assume a door is shut -- our greatest critics sometimes become our staunchest supporters.

    39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
    Don't worry, be happy.

    40. Who was your favorite Breaststroker of 2005?
Well Bren certainly sealed that with a hug at Duel and a wonderfully hospitable family in Montreal. But if someone has to finish 2nd to him, it should be Mike Brown.
