  • Thank You Melissa!

Have to do what Meesh tells me to do. Seriously, though, great pics. It looks like there were quite a few kids there. I hope they managed to raise alot of money. I'm sure they were all excited to have Bren there.

  • Nice picture Melissa!! Quite adorable.

I hope everyone's semester started out well. I have a feeling 8am M-F is gonna kick my butt hardcore.

OH...but I am pleased to say that Peirsol will once again be a permanent fixture on my walking path MWF! haha. That sounds pretty scary/stalkerish on my part...not gonna lie, but I promise, it just happened!!!!

    Take care my loves.

  • Sure Gina, it's "coincidence", right... ;-)

Ok speaking of UT and Austin, I have a desperate plea, er, polite request for our Austin bloggers. A friend and I are hoping to go to South by Southwest in March. Apparently a very limited number of event-access wristbands go on sale in February, but they're only being sold on a walkup basis in Austin. Which is a problem if you live in California, for example.

So....if any of our fair Austin bloggers is willing/able to pickup the wristbands for us, please email me at eatwings@hotmail.com, and we'll figure out details.

Back to your regularly scheduled priority of admiring new pictures. Thanks Melissa!

  • That's cool you're going to SXSW Kerry. I hope you have fun. One of these years I'm going to make it down there for that. I wonder why you can only pick the wristbands up and not buy them like any other tickets or such online. That would suck for people that come in from all across the country.

  • Yay Melissa, thanks so much for taking pics. I think watching a clinic would be great. I would love to see the information going into all those little minds. Making a a difference in their strokes. Well and then add Brendan. Perfect.

  • Wait, so Brendan finishes school and it goes unannounced? Or have I been hiding under a rock? Either way, congratulations Brendan! Graduation is a big deal even when you're not busy setting world records, conquering the dolphin kick, and traveling around the country sharing your wisdom.

Blair -- SXSW is technically an industry convention with a hefty registration fee, so they make it hard to get all-access tix if you're just going for fun. I may have to bribe my music industry friends.

  • Brendan is a college graduate now Kerry (and everyone else). He finished in December around the time we had that big Business Card contest as a graduation gift. Ring any bells? :p

  • Argh, I'm a stickler for grammar.

Kerry- May I ask why you are going to SXSW? From what I understand wristbands are a hefty fee and it doesn't always get you into a show (though, more than likely it does), but if you're just going for the experience I recommend not getting a wristband because you can still get into a lot of the shows without a wristband.

ANYWAY- never lost a meet in H.S. or in college?!?! Brendan never ceases to amaze me!

Austinites- Anyone (Brendan? The whole trio?) wanna go see "Match Point" with me? I'm dying to see it and it's not showing in OK and since I have a place to stay in Austin, why not go there??

By Blogger Kayte, at 1/21/2006 12:50 AM

  • Kayte...I must tell you that 'Match Point' wasn't that great....not gonna lie. I had pretty high expectations, and it just wasn't all it could have been. That's just me though!

Have a great weekend my darlings!
