Congratulations, Brendan! You did it and you should be very proud. I can't imagine having a career like yours and still managing to continue with your college education. May you have many more successful years ahead of you.
Congrats B Hansen!!!!! I wish I had graduated already!! Good luck with everything in the future because swimming or not, you will be successful no matter what.
-UT G
P.S.- 2 more weeks til Short Course, and I am not gonna lie, I am pretty STOKED to finally see you swim.
Yay! Congrats Bren! I know a lot of hard work went into that pretty little diploma there. Good luck with everything you decide to do in the future. I know you'll rock it.
Brendan, you have accomplished something else to be admired for. I never had the courage to finish school and I wasn't even pursuing and achieving Olympic goals and dreams. I know this is not the end of school for you, but what a huge accomplishment. Congratulations.
Congratulations Brendan! How exciting. Just going to school is tough enough but to do it while being and staying a world class champion is totally on another level..i can only imagine. Good job and enjoy.
Congratulations, Brendan! Nice diploma! I bet you are happy to finally hold it in your hands and know that you accomplished another of your goals. The world's your oyster!
YAY!!! Congrats Brendan. I'm soo proud of you, and really happy that you still continued to get an education while being an athelte too. Well done!! (and that goes along with the rest of the trio) ; -D May good luck continue to bless you!!
I must admit, when I saw Bren's diploma, I had the same reaction that Dana did! Congrats Brendan...doesn't it feel good when you finally achieve something you've worked so hard to get?
Brendan, Just wanted you to know that once again you have made us very proud. Despite all the distractions you have had in the past two years you have kept to your goal of graduation. We are sure you are as proud of this accomplishment as you are of all the others you have had in the past. We know it was hard for you but you kept your focus. This focus of yours has made you the success that you are. Please know that whatever you do in the future we are here for you. We love you and are proud to be your grandparents. Gpop & Gmom
I find Brendan's diploma to be humbling and awe-inspiring. To manage the pressures of college on top of world-class swimming, plus maintaining friendships and a close relationship with family - truly, congratulations. (I was reminded of the pressures of school this week when I was with Heather in Denver - she is doing smashingly in graduate school, but all of the papers she writes plus the reading she does, I was reminded why graduation feels like a relief).
Also congratulations to Brendan's parents and grandparents, to whom so much credit is owed - graduation says a lot about the love of an entire family.
hey everyone thanks so much for all the congrats. just to let you know I was up in philly watching Megan swim her meet. I have to admit, there is actually a Hansen that can swim backstroke... She had best times in the 100 and 200 Backstroke and her team won the conference championships. I was so proud! Ian and Aaron are still working on their diplomas and they arent far behind. we are all gearing up for Short Course everyone looks really fast and we are hoping for big crowds and fast swimming. Have a great week yall i am already tired of this cold weather damn I live texas not anarctica.
Congrats to Megan too, and happy belated birthday, erin! And blair, you can have all the snow you want, I've got plenty of it! In fact, I've got enough snow for all of you! Or you can just come over here and we can all go sledding, wheee!
