Le Swoooon!





I'd like to take a moment to thank the Hansen/Savini families for such an incredible gene pool. And thank you Terrie for scanning the image for me from the new Aardvark Catalog .

Also, Nike finally has a page for their swimwear. Brendan is on the front page and there are athlete profiles for each of the Nike sponsored swimmers as well. Here are a couple of screenshots for those of you who don't want to take the time to click the link.

  • 1- Wheeee!!! It's about freakin time, Nike! It's nice to see the athletes up on the site, and a section devoted to their swim stuff. You mean I can actually easily find somewhere to buy a Nike suit? Score!

  • Oh, Le swoon is right! Wow.

    While I am glad to see Nike take a step in the right direction, I can't possibly be the only one who laughed at Brendan being the world champion in the "400m IM." (Not to mention the absence of all of his 2006 records.) Next up: Nike's marketing team actually learns swimming events.

    Amazing picture! Swoon? More like hyperventilating here. That moved into my top three favorites the minute I saw it.

    Oh...my second thought was...about time Nike. Now if they would expand their swim stuff to a specific site I would be in awe.

  • Nike is a smart company chosing Brendan as the front page man. His start is so strong. I love the way his left hand wraps his right hand. Always the same.

    And that being said. I really like the new catalog photo. Does anyone know if htere is a Nike catalog with the whole shoot in it? I know I ask for so much!

  • I was confused by the red swimcap. They don't sell a red swimcap. Is this somehow related to Bono's shop red thing? What is going on with the red cap??!? And Kerry, somehow I missed the 400 IM on there (I can't imagine what distracted me.) Good catch! I'll have to add that to his bio page ;).

  • You can get a red Nike cap you just can't get it off of there. That's the bad thing about shopping off their site. Not just swim stuff but all Nike stuff. Most of the time you find a better size and style selection elsewhere.
